Anyway - headed all the way in to Casino today with my OutZone PCB, and the engine was 'too busy'. Booo! At least somebody in the arcade industry is busy! Anyway - good to see CHI, hzt, JDE, Illyrian andDan76. Sorry it was so brief.

And if you decide to move the date for our Christmas drinks, count me in!

I was in Casino this afternoon, two things worth mentioning:

The screen on Deathsmiles was fucked, flickering like Progear does but constantly, non stop.

Demolish Fist is gone and that cab now has one of the multi boards with a load of old games - we should totally try and get a hori in it, even if it it just means moving DS or Progear, since that cab is one of the best ones and anything we put in should make more money than the multi board thing.

Also stage 5 midboss on Mushi maniac is a proper dickhead, what the hell.

All I remember seeing is Robotron. That cab is wasted on those games though, it has better sticks and buttons than anything except the most popular fighting games.

I thought maybe Sunday afternoon/evening on the 18th, or an evening on the 19th or 20th. No worries if you can't change to fit me; I know it's an insanely complex time socially. I'd love to bring Mrs Spadgy along too. She wants to find out who these enchanting, charismatic-sounding men I spend all this time with are!

Hey guys, sorry for not posting about the christmas thing earlier in the week.

So I think we may be better off meeting up during the week of 26-31st december, i.e. the week after the one initially proposed. It'll give Dan and James more time to work on their shmup, a high score competition on which will be taking place during the xmas meet.

I'm free each day from 28th-30th, (I come back to london from devon on the 27th) which is Wednesday-Friday that week.

General plan would be to meet somewhere where we can order some lunch and have a quick drink or two then go to the arcade. Are there any pubs around the arcade that do a good pub lunch? How about the one we went to that one time a month or two back?

If push comes to shove we can do it next week, but if it's back another week people have more time to organise etc.
