Hey Samurai Fox, you have Psycho Fox (for the Sega Master System) as your avatar. Me and my brother played the living hell out of that game. There are all of these warp zones. Great Game. There´s sort of a sequel to it. It´s called Decap Attack, but that is a raped American version. There´s the original Megadrive Japanese version as well. You probably already know all of this, right?

Also, this gold edition is for pc right? That link provided in the first post does not really work here in Germany...

There's also Kid Kool on NES, probably the first game to play like Psycho Fox and also made by Vic Tokai. I have to check the date. I think the JP one came before Psycho Fox, but it may have been released after Psycho Fox in the US. Most definitely made first, though. Part of the reason the US Decap Attack (I don't know if "raped" is the right word for it since it feels like a good game in its own right) is in compilations instead of the JP Magical Hat version is becuase the JP one is based on an anime license. I definitely plan to pick up the JP Magical Hat version since it plays more like Psycho Fox and Kid Kool than the US version.

Yeah, I love Vic Tokai games about as much as I love Toaplan. It's too bad the collection doesn't have Socket or any of the Battle Mania games. Now that's a real crying shame there.

EDIT: Honestly, I kinda prefer Decap Attack over Magical Hat, especially when it comes to the presentation. For some reason, the Japanese version doesn't really seem that interesting to me other than the different levels (which is why I still bother to play it occasionally).

Isn't the pentagram supposed to be upside-down in devil worship? Man, that goat's gonna be so embarrassed.

Or, wild idea... the arcade version? The freeware Model 2 emulator runs it fine, so I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the company that developed the hardware to be able to do at least as well.
