Focusing on Ikaruga chaining now that the boards are merged. I don't think I can top my original arcade score any time soon.

XBLA Arcade (Stage 4)
Kenchan - 8,869,730 - 5A - A?? B?? C?? - Ikaruga

XBLA Story
Kenchan - 6,034,470 - 2E - A?? B?? C?? - Ikaruga

Yes I am that bad at Stage 2 that I have trouble even clearing it with 9 lives -_-

Well, I'm still working at it. Up to 19m in arcade normal. Finally 1cc'd Very Hard (4 lives going into the stone-like, barely squeezed by on invincibility for the insane last ring). 24m in story mode.

Don't really want to spend money on xbla ikaruga...real shame they locked up the mode like that.

XBLA arcade (st4)
Zerst - 19,445,600 - All - A33 B27 C33 - Original

XBLA story
Zerst - 28,972,480 - All - A28 B21 C30 - Original

I want so badly to break 20m, but I'm almost out of points to get besides not fucking up stage 5. Burning myself out consistently hitting 12-12.6m going into it and trainwrecking every time.

Wow. I was kinda disappointed the huge score increase didn't move you up on the AC board, but you definitely had your revenge on Story mode board. Well done!

Wow, man, wow! You've beaten your best score on the harder version of the game, that's incredible. Congratulations!

Will you do the Story mode as well?

Of course, I also play story mode: 37.6M for now (is on the leaderboard too), but I dont practice this mode at the moment. 38/38.5 will be the target on this mode.
For me the xbla version is not harder than the original one. playing without slowdown doesn't have any effect on my gameplay. for me xbla version is 99.9% the same version than the stv/saturn version.

I used a Sega Saturn. Also I accidentally put a "3" at the end of my score. It's supposed to be a "0".

XBLA - Stage 2
Enigma- 5,248,480- 2D - A17, B14, C15- Original Chaining

First time getting the second extend in Original chaining. No missed Stage 3 for the first time in quite a while but completely screwed up in Stage 2. I think I'll make this my next 1cc, well assuming I don't 1cc something else before it during STGT.

Wow, he's still going. Amazing score!

(it's marked as a Saturn run on the scoreboard though)

Nope, you're talking about the previous 38.2M score that was indeed, to my knowledge, done on the Saturn version. I didn't update the board until right now.

XBLA Arcade (Stage 4)
Zaarock - 11,957,230 - 1 - A33 B15 C28 - Original

Got this a couple days ago. Posted now because I 1cc:d for the first time today in a run where I messed up all the important chains in Stage 4 but ended up no-missing XIGA and Stone-Like with no lives left in the end, felt good :) Going to move on to Story mode for now, Stage 2 and Stage 6 will be fun.

Thanks to ben.shinobi for putting up awesome replays for the game, always inspiring watching your story mode WR!

I found arcade mode much more fun than saturn mode.
You must chain but not so much as the saturn mode cause weapon levelelling is so much faster
