Ah thats great news. I just thought i'd been given a dud code and that it had been printed incorrectly. Even if it was it wouldn't have been a major issue as i'm buying it for the game ultimately and note the theme. Thanks for the heads up.

While i'm making the effort to post though I must say, having never played either of these games previously that while the boss fights are epic (SotC here, not really touched ico yet) getting to them is boring as hell and the camera while riding isn't always the best.
The universe is neither hostile nor friendly, simply indifferent.

Even without my umbillical cable attached I still have over 12,000 plates of fortified armour AND I have my AT Field! There's NO WAY I can lose!!

This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.

Good lord.

This is taking an obscene amount of time, and now this? Ah well.

Bummer about the Last Guardian setback. I just hope he continues making games.

Some other sources are saying that he'll stay for as long as it takes to finish Last Guardian.

EDIT: Turns out he has in fact left Sony, but he's still working on TLG as a freelancer.

I do hope he realizes that it will be hard to find a company who will put up with his artsy and "takes for ever to make" games.

Or he could just pull an Itagaki/Mikami and start his own studio.

You can't have a studio, without money. And you can't have money, without a product. And he would go under pretty quick, unless he sped it up.

He can't do a polyphony though, with TLG 1.0, TLG 1.1.. etc etc. If they want faster progress they should increase his team size.
