Played Metal Black, made it to stage 3 and ragequit.

Played Strikers 1945 III, made it to stage 5 there, too damn hard for me.

Played Strikers 1945 II, didn't get far.

Played Dodonpachi, made it all the way to the last stage (I think it's the last one anyway, stage 6). Had good amount of lives and kept it there which was excellent considering I had no practice until Stage 5/6 where I just lost the lot.

Rockint the pork right now in MAME... Getting my ass served on a plate, but it's so fun!

(been playing it for a couple of hours and now I finally manage to get to stage 3 midboss on 1 credit, but can't beat it yet.)

But it feels so good, I feel the progress, slowly but steadily. And getting the pork-gold is clearly addictive.

Ahh, that consistency that I've been chasing after since I started playing Dragon Blaze? Finally there. I can no-miss all stages after only about 5 attempts. I could no-miss the first loop soon with a little more tying of loose ends.

Been playing the Konami collections on PSP - mostly Gradius Gaiden & GokuParo. The difficulty options cut way down on the frustration factor (easy mode, rank increase at half, small hitbox). May not the way the games were meant to be played, but I'm having so much more fun that it doesn't bother me.

Game blows my mind. Love it as much as any shmup even though the second boss is a puzzle I still haven't solved-- I get past it only by luck here and there.

Dude, are you using your hadou gun? It's that ultra-powerful missile that sends a red ribbon of destruction in front of your ship, all the way up to the top of the screen. Collect and save bombs throughout the stage, die once or twice before you get to her, then you should have about two or three (more than that if you disassemble the tanks properly). Fire one for each of her phases, or just the ones you don't feel comfortable fighting with, and she should go down hard. It's really that easy.

Ok this is pretty awesome. I was just playing Supe R-Type with my TvC stick on a 10" tablet lol. The emulation speed is pretty good, but not very accurate (Super GNES). I'll have to try some
other emulators...

Even tate'd the CRT for the occasion. Love but I kinda wish there was 1 or 2 more music tracks in the game. The one for the latter stages plays for quite a while. Other than that, beautiful game. Love the SFX

I've also been working on my double finger rapping technique for play sans autofire. If I do it right it works out! Fun!

DDP Res, it arrived yesterday. (After I ordered it a few days before, canceled my order, ordered it again the day before yesterday... *hihihi*) And it was cheaper than first announced. My first preorder was 45 Swiss Francs, as I ordered it again, the price was only 39 Swiss Francs (at the same shop!)

The game itself... It's a blast to finally play it on the big screen instead of the iphone or the ipad.

Although I know the levels 1 - 5 more or less from the iPad version (played on hard), they play completely different now playing with a stick. What was expected.

I'm loving it so far, but the arrange modes, especially arrange b, are quite confusing. Didn't DL BL yet, but 1.51 - it feels like fun, but just played half a credit.

does anyone have any tips for the Moai stage?, the only tactic I have is 'shoot in the mouth while open then v scroll upwards untill you see the emptiest way through'
