Digipen Shmups

After experiencing the awesomesomeness of Nitronic Rush I thought I'd have a look to see what else Digipen students had churned out and found this large list.
There's quite a few shmups in here and I was wondering if anyone had tried any.
The only previous reference I've found is in this thread about Opus a game which is purely shit by all accounts.
However the quality of Nitronic Rush makes me think that list could be worth sifting.

Well I downloaded six of the shmups from that list and every single one of them was crap so just forget it
