After tons of practice, this guy still gives me the creeps. You need to completely memorize his patterns and you have no room for error. A single mistake and you're dead. Also worth mentioning that at full power he's nearly impossible to beat, so you NEED to die and fight him at a lower power level to even stand a chance. And even then it's very easy to mess up.

- All the loop bosses in Dragon Blaze have some terrifying attack before the tech that will waste all your bombs if your dodging isn't spot-on. The tech itself is almost impossible to pull off in some cases.
- The 1-6 boss of Gunbird 2. Lasers tap tap pew pew bam you're dead. Hate that section. Actually, all Psikyo bosses with lasers go here.
- The ESPgaluda final boss, mainly due to the music and DAT FINAL PATTERN
- Hellsinker's Perpetual Calendar. Lasts forever, full of exact timing, and those miniboss fights with Old Rose/Saint Mouve are so annoying.
- Daioujou Stage 2. Bastard is way, way too hard.
- Confrict from Batrider. Don't ask.

Any boss in Gradius 3. Even the SNES port does a pretty decent job at having stupidly hard bosses that are almost impossible to recover from on death.

- Envy from Armed Police Batrider is the first boss that scares me to death, especially when it unleashes a cone of death at you.

- The Second Phase of Bahamut from Battle Bakraid. Heck, every time when that happens, I quickly use a bomb.

- Electric Fan, from Darius Gaiden, especially when it fires a storm of bullets at you.

Once upon a time I was worse than Gordon Ramsay with swearing as soon as I saw Envy, but with some practice you get a good idea of the different patterns and be able to dodge them.

That's a major accomplishment; treat yourself to something nice. I dismissed that game as unwinnable a long time ago. Time to fire up the ol' PSP and get back to work - after I "master" Dariusburst.
