I would like to announce that I am the first westerner as far as I know to 1cc this game on a replayable cheatless saveless legit MAME replay (MARP uploading is down btw). I used Fordy (yellow mech) to beat the game, the game is so ruthless that even with my safe tactics it still kicked my ass at the end!

It took me 2,5 years to pull this off... and that's with constantly changing weapon/leg combinations for experiment, until I found the "right" one. Now, this record is as good if not better than my battle bakraid advanced clear here. If you are interesed go watch the mame input file or wait until the videos are up in few days.

Damn dude major congratulations on your victory, this game is balls hard for a beat em up, but a VERY fun one. I'd highly advise people try it if they haven't and look up how to do advanced moves.

That being said, Fordy is the mech I fell in love with ever since testing them all out, I just love the combination of speed and range it offers.

I look forward to that replay, the best I've seen is a jap guy getting to the final boss with Blodia but messing up for a game over right before the boss would go down

I think I'd like this game better if you could take a little more punishment. I don't think glass cannons suit brawling games, especially ones where you're armored. And warriors.

That's just strange, I can play it back fully just fine and I HAVE no nvram file by the way. Did you play it back with wolfmame143 and armwar romset? Also note first part is up on youtube, second in uploading.

You got it right. I do know there are some people out there who 1cc'd this game in arcades, but never recorded it because it was either years ago or no one has PC strong enough to record it onto youtube.

You are correct, the best example is the last boss (his second form) in the videos here. It seems he was made just to make people put in tons of more money.
