Atlus Arcade spotted..

Post by rancor »

...Without a single game from Atlus.

Story at 11:00.

Seriously. I drove all the way out there (Misato / Saitama) to see this monstrosity, and not a single Atlus game.

That's lame. I also got excited because I thought the sign above the door said "Gals Panic".

They made the Power Instinct series.

...I know, that's not saying much, but still.

Atlus is more famous in arcades for having invented the Purikura booth.

That game has the best game over screen ever. Additionally:

Damn shame about the lack of Atlus arcade games, though. I'm surprised there isn't some Megami Tensei light gun shooter with robot suits and demons everywhere.
Why is it called the Vic Viper/Warp Rattler? Because the Options trail behind it in a serpent-like fashion, and the iconic front fins are designed to invoke the image of a snake's fangs.

Not last couple times I had a look on ebay, maybe it was just bad timing on my part.

Sven666, I tend to like some games others don't. ;)

Edit: just had a look on ebay, figures when I have no money for games right now, the damned things cheap.
