Is my Emotia busted?

I've got a blinking power light, and 2 and 3 blinking, It doesn't appear to be taking input. Is this guy done?

Sorry nothing to add, but what a coincidence, the same thing happened to my Emotia unit just last week as well after a power outage so I'm interested to know too

Most likely this is just a blown fuse a dried up or leaked capacitor. The units are getting old, but there's hardly anything which can happen to the actual ICs.

I'm bumping this. I prodded my PSU today, and it's definitely my PSU. +5V is OK but +12 and -12 are just bullshit. So now it's time for some questions:
Is -12V required? This might be a standard power supply, etc.

If It is, what's the easiest, most convenient way I can get one box that provides me with +12, +5 and -12 without being too huge, as I need this to be portable.

Cheap is good, and I have a stockpile of some basic components if this can be build this easily.

yes, you need the -12V line. That's why it's so hard to find a replacement.

after i got my emotia power supply on eBay i spotted this one which appears to be a passable replacement, so long as the pinout is correct. The auction has ended but it looks like he had/has 13 units so it might be worth contacting the seller to see if he'll cut you a deal

I'm hardly an electrician, but I'd be tempted to say go get a cheap 3.5" hard drive enclosure just for the included power brick. Pretty sure 3.5" hard drives need both 5V and 12V lines, though I can't tell you if they need them at both polarities.

They don't, but a Negatron and said PSU would do it. I think I have an OLD laptop brick around here that does -12. I'm searching my stash.
