They have a no-pillowcase-attached version for 30 bucks.
Yeah, but I went all in and pre-ordered the SE from GS. So yeah, all that, plus the Pre-Order DLC, and will be waiting, and I bet some of you guys would really like to snuggle all this that comes with it.

I love collector's editions. Why must this thing be NTSC-U/C region locked? :(

Looks like this patch made Fuuma not useless. For those without context, this boss probably has the most HP aside from the last boss and the true last boss.

Every submission for approval costs the publisher a non-refundable $10,000, so if it gets rejected again that will almost certainly be the last straw.
sorry, but from what i know it's M$ don't even care this game release or not

Microsoft must have finally granted approval for the game to be listed on XBL, so I think it's very safe to say that Nov. 1 will be the final date.

Insert about time comment here.

That said, the US Release will give me a chance to play this with my friends who have been looking forward to this for a while, so yay.

I don't know about you guys but I'm getting a little nervous xbox.com not listing Otomedius Excellent anymore. I feel like this game's release is threading on a needle.

Damn, he's right, it looks like they took it down from Xbox.com or moved it...

It was because they put the Vic Viper DLC up for download, which was meant to be a Gamestop preorder bonus.

The fact that they were allowed to list the game at all should signify that it was approved.

Wrong, its a compatability pack like I said (to be used for others to see in online play), not the actual DLC, get your facts straight, besides, if they did have it there, it would have been like 400MSP like Straf and Kokoro (and their respective comp. packs.). But its only a pre-order bonus, and the chance to have it there on the marketplace may be slim.

Shame also that the site listing for that game is removed, although this is possibly temporary when it hits store shelves soon, and have it back online.

Don't worry, 3rd Strike Online had it's listing temporary removed then put back shortly before release. Just the way XBL works. The site is buggy as all hell as is. It reset my avatar twice just by using it.

I noticed that at my local Gamestop, the release date for O:CE bundled set is listed as November 2nd, 2011 (as shown in the GS pre-order binder). Did the smart thing & preordered it with the obligatory $5.00 reservation.

LOL, Machine...Anyways, I forgot to say that I actually paid it all off beforehand, so yeah...

Other than that, not all games (maybe), except popular titles like FPS's/TPS's come on release, first there's the ship date, then the release date, mostly for niche titles and such.

So Game Stop only has the SE listed, both online and in stores. I don't want to pay for useless extras though.

Anyone know why Game Stop is doing this? Anyone know if there's way to get the pre-order DLC with the normal edition of the game?

I know that some other recent releases have put out their "LE" first by itself, and added a lower-priced "regular edition" later on - not sure if that's what Konami's doing here, but if it is then it's likely the only (firsthand) way to get ahold of the pre-order skin.

The T-301 Anoa isn't worth the cost of the LE, and was included with the standard disc only in the Japanese release. It's a palette swap. They changed her uniform from Detroit Lions Blue to New York Giants Blue. That's it. No weapon usage differences, no option type change.

So the Castlevania character is paid DLC or on disk?

Well, there's other stores like Best Buy and Amazon for the regular edition.

And about the DLC, Straf and Kokoro are paid DLC which they are both 400MSP each with a free comp. pack for online co-op match-ups. They're already on the JP marketplace, but unknown when they'll be out in the US marketplace whenever.

Also, more BGM packs are releasing though since BGM #2 recently came out. I wonder if the US marketplace will also get the BGM packs too, but who knows, since each of them are 440MSP each, lol.

Or even moreso if the DLC from the JP marketplace can be accessible in the US port, just like the On Demand port of DS2 and the First Print Ed. card with a special track in it, but maybe not likely, unless someone tests this out when they get it.

I'll be testing this on Day 0, so people will get their answer fast.

Yeah, I'm definitely just gonna get the regular edition from some other store then.

It sucks how the sole game store chain in the U.S. actually carries less stuff than Best Buy, Target, etc. They also charge 5 bucks extra for many new DS games (and GBA back in the day). And since they don't carry very old games, there is like no reason to set foot in that shitty store. The last reason I could think of was for pre-order bonuses, but they've even screwed that up.

For all the people out there (myself included) that have been wondering when Konami would actually announce a date. The Facebook page more or less confirmed Nov 1st and an article was posted this morning on some random website that stated they had confirmation from KOA of Nov 1st.

Finally, already paid it off and will pick it up on release. And for more honest news, here's the co-optimus article.

Another confirmation it's being released Nov 1st, internationally!
Siliconera wrote:And the game’s international release is next week. Siliconera confirmed with Konami Otomedius Excellent will ship on November 1.
Not necessarily the game will be released internationally on that date, but likely to be released elsewhere besides the US.
