Shmup Desktops

While a desktop isn't hardware per se, my PC (lap top) is definitly one of my favorite pieces of shmup hardware.

Does anyone else use their PC mainly to play shmups and does your desktop reflect your PCs main purpose?

Here is my Space Invaders theme. There used to be a more moderate amount of icons, but my doujin collection keeps growing.



I'm not just trying to show off my simple desktop. I've had it that way for years and am really just looking for any new ideas. If anyone has a sweet shmup-theme desktop, I've love to see it.

ironically,i keep all my games (80 percent of which are shmups) in a folder in a folder on my desktop.

I never understood why people have icons on their desktops for applications that create file associations anyway, you never load the app via its icon.

now now,some of us (not me though) are too lazy to open a folder so they put icons right on their desktop.
