PETITION: new shoot - CAVE PCB for 2012...

Post by IBARAKURO »

Hello everyone,

PETITION: new shoot - CAVE PCB for 2012...

Cave decided to develop games on iOS priority, which is normal...
But they also said they would not forget their ARCADE fans
To show that it is important for us, I propose to create a petition

So, if this is as important to you, come and sign the petition

Put your Usernames and your Country

thank you
(sorry for my bad English)

PS. parallel french petition on shmup.com

I must confess I actually considered the petition idea when the rumour mill was pointing in the direction of an end to arcade development, but then one of Cave's big-wigs put out a message reassuring fans that this was not the case. This should be enough for now surely? Beyond that, it all depends on how the next game sells.

Another one is coming out, they have already said so. The only way to help them continue to come out is to buy one brand new, they also specifically said that. Online petitions are a joke but maybe it will put a smile on their face.

I don't think Cave will believe that everyone who has signed will actually buy a brand new kit from them .

Maybe everyone that signed also should offer them a down payment of say $ 1000,- , that will grab their attention !

Very good point - 1500 people sign the petition

50 people at the most buy new, or say 100

other 1400 beg for a port.

Please consider the following:

1. Cave is already making new arcade games so relax.
2. Has an online petition involving video games ever been worth a damn.
3. Cave doesnt care about the opinions or desires of players outside of Japan when it comes to decisions regarding new arcade titles.
4. When considering the possibility of future domestic ports, seeing a petition that only 20 people signed may make them further wary of releasing games overseas.

Someone on Cave's JP side speaks fluent English, so I'm fairly certain they're aware of their western audience. Either email them directly, or contact them via Facebook or Twitter, as it's proven to incite response.

If you want to show support, contact them. A petition isn't going to help.
