Dodonpachi 5: New Successors

Post by KiethSomataw99 »

I wonder if Atlus could work with Cave to do the shmup Dodonpachi 5, for arcade and Xbox 360. Unlike its predecessors and like Deathsmiles II, this game will have 3d textures instead of sprites and realistic effects. Also, the game has light armor powerups and heavy armor powerups. Light armor adds 3health bars which allow the fighter to withstand attacks while heavy armor adds 6. Depending on the attack, the health bar is decreased, like in Guwange. Without armor, one hit is fatal and the player loses a life. Depleting health bars will also cause you to lose a life. The game takes place around the world; Stage 1 is Tokyo, Japan, Stage 2 is Beijing, China, Stage 3 is Paris, France, Stage 4 is London, England, Stage 5 is Washington D.C., USA, Stage 6 is Berlin, Germany, and Stage 7 is Outer Space. All stages end with a boss and after the warning and when the boss is encountered, a converstion goes between the player and the boss. Each fighter has a pilot each from different countries and different occupations; Fighter 1A (red) is piloted by Wilfred, a secret agent from England, Fighter 2B (yellow) is piloted by Hans, an engineer from Germany, Fighter 1B (green) is piloted by Gabriel, a marine from USA, Fighter 2B (purple) is piloted by Katie, a maid from France, Fighter 1C (blue) is piloted by Mai, a pretty high school student from Japan, Fighter 2C (black) is piloted by Ling, a police officer from China. The rest is up to Cave and Atlus. I would like this game to be available, perhaps in Japan and USA. Each boss is different, one of them is an element doll, some large ships, and there are other types of bosses. From Daifukkatsu, the six pilots, weakened by time travel, transferred their skills and spirit to the six main characters before fading away, reminding them of the mission and characters' reasons. After the true final boss is defeated you see the words "Peace has finally returned to earth. Peace came with a hefty price; many people died and towns were destroyed. However, during this peace, we can rebuild our war torn earth and look forward to the future. We cannot predict the future, whether is be peace or war, all we can do is prepare for it." Mai is perhaps the lead character in the game as she fights to avenge her parents but ironically in her ending, she discovers her parents were actually alive and she is reunited with them. She should appear standing with her fighter on the cover of the Xbox 360 case. Each character has a different reason for fighting and a different story, but same stage order. There are two loops, the second accessible when the player or players do well and accomplish one of the requirements. The second loop is when the players are transported back in time to face the enemies, who have become stronger and finally, the true final boss: Perfect Hibachi. The game goes to the credits after the first loop if he or she couldn't get to the second loop. After the second loop, the characters' true ending is shown and if there are two players, player 1's ending is shown then player 2's ending is shown. Of course, you can do 1 player mode as player 2. This game probably is gonna be long for an arcade game assuming the second loop is done.

TOO LONG DIDN'T READ

He isn't going to read this or respond to anything, so it's fair to say that he's still in diapers and probably doesn't know any better.

Sad though. Kid's put a lot of work into something that will never exist.

If that jumbled paragraph is your idea of "a lot of work", it is no wonder our future is doomed... Kids these days!
