I'm actually kind of impressed by the lady's presence on the internet. And you get what?

Yup! Really chill even for a baby. Still working on hand taming. I don't know the sex yet, hopefully in the next few weeks I can figure it out.Dragoforce wrote:

£495, but the art was gone completely, it had been hand painted in gloss with a roller (that was fun to sand away...), and I also spent £150 on a second System 1 shell to raid for a better monitor.RNGmaster wrote:Oh my god I love Marble Madness. How much was it?

I emulate its games on a Gamecube with by S-Video, does that count?louisg wrote:I dunno if anyone here has seen a Genesis on anything better than composite, but it makes a drastic difference-- much bigger than with other consoles.

And at last, my new baby.

This one didn't disappoint: white like new, and much quieter than my previous DC. Tonight I'm gonna party like it's 1999!

I took a look at this girl's page, and it's interesting. She doesn't look Asian, but she does have that body type, that a lot of Japanese go for. Kind of..underdeveloped. She's also pretty cute, in the face, and looks mildly like an anime character. She does have a big-ish nose though. I actually like girls with big-ish noses, so it doesn't bother me...speedlolita wrote:

It strikes me that the Japanese like these young girls who kind of dance, like they can't really dance. Watching 'W' videos, and some other ones gave me this impression. It's like "oh, look how cute, they're all young, pretty, and kind of uncoordinated".
Just an observation.
Also, I have to wonder how they say her last name, with the problems they have with l's and r's. I'm expecting it sounds something like Beckii Cloor. If anyone has a clip where some TV person over there is saying it, please link!

That pic reminded me of a friend of mine who looks sorta similar.

That pic doesn't do the similarity justice, though.

You think so? I was browsing the thread and my girlfriend shouted across the room what our friend would be doing on this calendar. IRL they look a bit more alike.Dragoforce wrote:Cool failure broJockel wrote:That pic reminded me of a friend of mine who looks sorta similar.

She is a cutey, but I don't really dig 16 year old girls unless they are anime characters. Watching her dance makes me feel awkward and I feel like I should be scolded afterward.

Picked this up when I purchased an abandoned Storage Locker.
Not bad for $200, considering almost everything is functioning properly. There is some replacements needed but everything looks pretty good.

The artwork on that mystery castle is fucking rad.

Awesome pickup there. I've never seen one of those in person. I have to imagine in the UK they're even that much rarer. How does it play?system11 wrote:£495, but the art was gone completely, it had been hand painted in gloss with a roller (that was fun to sand away...), and I also spent £150 on a second System 1 shell to raid for a better monitor.RNGmaster wrote:Oh my god I love Marble Madness. Your comparison pic is way closer, that's for sure.

A gift I just received rather than something I bought, but here's the best place for it.
A massive Deathsmiles banner so big I can't fit it in my flat in a way where I can totally lay it flat or take a half decent photo of it.
These were made by Rising Star and Cave to promote Deathsmiles PAL at trade shows, and I think only three to five exist. Maybe more. I'll check tomorrow.
If I here the others are looking for good homes, I'll let people know (they'll be free, because it's not my place selling them as these relate to my work, but the Casino Crew (that includes you Skykid - I know you'll want one!) get first dibs!).

Re: Awesome stuff you've just bought (+pics please)
That's a cool Bally produced pinball find for a mere two hundred bucks indeed. Ya never know whatcha gonna find by buying a lone storage locker at an auction. You might score big time or sometimes not. Plan on keeping it or selling it in the nearby future? This particular pin has been shown at some of the past California Extreme shows. Interesting layout of the three flippers.Vyxx wrote:
