I really wish I could adjust the resolution or screen dimensions of GundeadliGne .

Bought it, Every game is awesome, So far i haven't been able to find an online match with anybody.

Also does anybody knows how to activate the FPS count? I can't seem to find the option yet the manual for Hitogata Happa shows the freature.

I tried an online match and it was unplayable because of lag too. Then the game proceeded to hang up after finishing stage A1. I read on the forums that they're still working on the netcode and will release a patch soon.
Add me on Steam and we'll have a match when they improve it a little.( NIckname is Kasbe).

Btw the new soundtrack is pretty good.

We changed the FPS counters to be disabled by default and moved them into the new INI files. Check the INI file for each game and you'll find the option there.

About the netplay, we tested it as much as we could among our small team, and when it works, it works really well. The thing is, I really need to work out what's going wrong when it DOESN'T work, hahah... x.x

Thank you Miss, Now i have that little counter on it's place :D.

I wish you guys luck with the sales :D

Update: After testing the online with Observer i can say that the game ran at 6.4 FPS according to the counter and we desynched every time, Also on our second try the game just crashed. None of us were downloading stuff while we tried or doing CPU intensive work, Also we both are from the same continent.

This is what it looks like:

Steam account is the same as my user name here.

I hope that a patch or two fixes the lag so that everyone can play online there...

Yep, this could be potentially great but, so far, it's really buggy.

I played with Zeether and it did the same thing of freezing for almost a minute before starting the stage properly. After that, we could play well but the controls were really laggy, so the movement felt clunky as hell. It was manageable though. But the game suddenly, nearly crashed on stage 3 and ended up the run there. I have the replay file saved, might upload the video with the stages 1-2 run.

The game really feels crafted for two players, I find it really frustrating playing on my own, kind of like Jamestown where 4 people equals an awesome play time.

I'm trying to work out other issues before I tackle the online play fixes much. It usually works great when it works at all, but there sure is a lot there I need to take a look at. When I start working on fixing it though, I think I'll have to gather a couple people to help me with the testing, since our internal group doesn't experience many problems.

Well, I for once have to have a stupid router turned on most of the day and I'm running under WinXP until I can get the proper license keys from work and upgrade to Win7.

I was also suspecting if the arranged OST isn't clogging things unnecessarily but that shouldn't be the case.

Hopefully, here we are patient in terms of fixes and such. The moment it works properly (so far, it seems only Beat Hazard managed to achieve that, although it also suffers from lag now and then), Schmukmup forums tourney ahoy!

Only one soundtrack is in memory at any given time and they don't influence the gameplay at all, so yeah, it's unrelated to the AST.

Bought on day 1, loving the new soundtrack (...tbh wasn't that big a fan of the old one). Haven't tried netplay yet, too busy getting creamed in Hitogata Happa.

Huge bonus: The game runs smooth as silk on my 2 year old netbook. 8)

they should work pretty much ok with 5yr old machines... i used to play them (the initial releases, when they were released at comikets) with a machine i built back in 2000 or 2001 (Athlon XP @ 1600 Mhz with 512 RAM), so a 2 yrs old machine should play them just fine...

on the other hand, i need a gamepad or something, i just cant play this with my lappy keyb... it just doesnt feel right!.

I tried that vertical scroller and I suck at it. Couldn't even beat the first stage nor could I find a shot type I could get comfortable with.

You know you got a crazy shmup when the Normal difficulty's first stage offers you bigger issues than your first attempt at DOJ's 2nd loop.

I have to say, I really like all three of the games, but I think GundeadliGne is my favorite.
Scoring system is fun as hell, think that is why I like it so much.

Happa is incredibly fun, but incredibly frustrating.

These games are really fun, so far I like Gundemonium Recollection the best.

However it seems the score board is bugged for me, all my scores have a delay rating of 54% on there.
Replays of the same runs show the correct 0-2% though.

Speaking of replays, is there any way to see replays of other players or share your own replays? I could not find any in my replay folder.

I admit i was sort of a shmup slut for a while as i was bouncing around from game to game, but happa made a family man out of me.

Really digging it, however I'd like to see some high score runs/higher level play videos preferably on youtube. I can get the "1cc" in normal however I dont know how valid it is given you can have 112 dolls...

How are people approaching the game? I've been going Assam/sikkim/earl in stages and for bosses leaf/sikkim/clover. Sikkim is by far my best, at times i feel he's overpowered however I dont know what the general consensus is.

Just downloaded the Collection. My first real foray into shmups (What the heck, 10$ isn't too much to waste), my Steam ID is voodude122 but usually goes by Jack *something or other*. So yeah. I would like to try the multiplayer feature, scrappy as it may be.

Two questions. One, how do you activate planeshift as any of the Earl types? I'm using 134.

Also, what exactly is the point of Demonic Shift? I can't seem to score better in it.

The Earls have a few ways to activate Planeshift. It depends on your weapon and mana action. Daath Whisper toggles Planeshift, and I think Derringer can cause a Planeshift too, but I don't believe Rising Sword or Hell Spike can. Hell Spike is sometimes paired with the Photon weapon though, and Photon causes Planeshift when you simply get really close to an enemy while shooting them.

As for Demonic Shift, it's a pretty long story. During Demonic Shift, you will always do a rapidfire shot as Eryth and she will never overheat. It also sets Phase Level to 11 until your mana runs dry. Higher phase levels tend to give more bullets, thus more potential for points and friction breaks. Knowing the right time to Demonic Shift can have a serious impact on your score.

Holy poo poo, Elixirel is just crazy. Gevurah seems to wall me at one point and I have trouble escaping it. Is it true that only the tips of the homing lasers have a hitbox? That would make it a bit easier.

Your best bet during Elixiriel fights is to do-the-Touhou and graze the f%·$%$ bullets all the time to perma-slowdown the entire thing in order to make it manageable. The more bullets on screen actually the better since you can graze more, cause alter breaks and keep things in slow mode for greater glory.

Still, I'm a bit pissed at some of the achievements of Gundemonium. Not only they have the wrong enemies and the indications can be very vague, some seem grindy as hell, like beating the game 64 times with all freaking 64 Earl combinations? I mean, come on! Unless that's also poorly worded or misleading...

Yeah, we didn't make the achievements for Recollection (they were made by the original creator and are even in the Japanese version, just not called 'achievements') unlike the other two games, I understand how you feel about them. I do plan to fix the icons; I didn't make those, our graphics guy did, and while he did good work in general, it's misleading. I might also make a pass at the wording on a couple of them to make it a little more clear. But that one is exactly what it says...

Oddly enough, someone had the Earl one within two days of release. I guess it doesn't take TOO long if you do it on Novice each time, but it is rather monotonous.

Yup, that's what I think. Or they could've edited the value of the save file since I think you mentioned data can be carried around for easy unlocking? Either way, not sure I'll be really bothering with that kind of stuff. I really aim more for the schmukmuppy "achievements" (lol), aka, the score goals, 1cc'ing the thing in at least normal or a higher difficulty and such.

So it was Murasame trying to rain on everyone's parade? Evil Murasame (゚ε゚)

Gotta love his dancing Leaf gif. They are called Play Orders in game, right? (The Gundemonium goals)

So here's how you get the Earl achievement without pulling out too many hairs:

Beat the game on Novice
Go to "New Game" and customize the Earl Type you want to use.
Highlight your Earl Type, but cancel out instead of starting a new game.
Select "Continue".

Voila, you're at the last stage with your selected Earl.

Still time consuming, but at least you don't need to beat the first four stages again.

This... seems unintentional.
