What crt tv I is better for to play with supergun and retro?

My question is what crt tvs model is better for to play with superguns and retro consoles like neogeo, supernes, megadrive and others??
In this moment I can buy another Lcd tv for to play with this??

What country are you in and whats the budget?

Cheap crt in the EU? - go for the biggest sony trinitron you feel comfortable moving ... Connect everything via scart rgb. You'll be able to service menu it and if its broken you can chuck it away and probably pick up another for 20 euro or less...


LCD? - unfortunately not sure... And size, budget and if you're going to tate are all questions you'll probably want to specify first.

Just be aware that input lag is not pixel response time and that tating wise you probably want a S-IPS/IPS panel rather than a TN panel.

Is plasma an option? They seem to upscale much better than any LCD I've ever seen, and they have zero motion blur (something that is much more noticeable with flat graphics seen in most classic games).

In the US ive been trying to find one aswell, I figured id get a Trinitron but in america we dont have scart the best we get is FD Trinitron WEGA with component.

Its sad I think my best option is a multisync arcade monitor.

I second that. I use a Commodore 1084 and Amiga 1080 in my supergun setup. Although they're 13" montiors the picture quality on them is superb. Even my Nes through composite video looks sharp.
