Afaik, all PAL EA games are region-locked. Certainly, all the ones I own are. Dead Rising is also locked to PAL.
Of the top of my head, the following PAL releases *do* work on an NTSC-J machine and aren't currently in the list in the opening post:
Darkstar One
Tropico 3
Red Dead Revolver
Rainbow Six Vegas 2
CoD4: Modern Warfare
Modern Warfare 2
TimeShift
I've kept meaning to add a fairly sizable list here myself, as I've got a silly number of PAL releases, but now that both machines have died it'll have to wait.

Anyone here tried Fable 3 NTSC on a Japanese system? I'd love to give this one a shot, but since it's published by MS themselves, I'm a little concerned it might be locked up...
Glad to hear that Vanquish is playable all over.

Since I don't see it on there yet, I'll confirm that the NTSC-US version of Super Street Fighter IV works fine on a Japanese console.
(Also Street Fighter IV is listed twice under the PAL section)

US versions of Agarest 2, EDF: Insect Armageddon and Catherine do not work on a Japanese 360.
I don't have Agarest 2, but it definitely is locked. Trust me.

Weird that they locked 2 but not 1.
Good to know Child of Eden will work. Catherine is the only reason I still have a ntsc console

Keeping it consistent with all other titles in the series, F.E.A.R. 3 (NTSC-U) is NOT locked. I bought it on PC, but Play-Asia confirms that the USA 360 version WILL work on Japanese consoles.
Kinect? KIN NOT.

Is this thread really necessary, when Play Asia has such a big list? Is theirs inaccurate?

Depends on your perspective. I find the Play Asia one very hard to navigate, and it has very little information on the compatibility of PAL games. Remember, the PA list is primarily for people with domestic systems importing Japanese games. This list is for people who own Japanese consoles who want to play domestic games.

New Vegas (NTSC-U) does not work. I'm certain the PAL version is the same way.

I can vouch for this also.
Too bad it wasn't region free like almost all of the other games EA/DICE has released.
