Total Eclipse on the 3DO vs. Total Eclipse Turbo for the PS1
This is a game that I will pick up at some point, but which version is better? I've read that Total Eclipse Turbo for the PS1 is faster and has better graphics, but from the screenshots I've viewed, everything looks the same, except for the explosions. It is also, for whatever reason, more expensive on ebay. But if it's better it would be worth it to me.

I have it for the 3D0 and it's fine.. have never actually played it for the PS1...
<@scootnet> if you were a real gamer, you could jerk it to Super Metroid box art

I'd just get it for your 3DO. It'll be one more game to play on the system with its scarce collection of worthwhile games. I beat Policenauts on the 3DO even though the PS1/Saturn versions are considered superior. I liked that the system would play imports out of the box.

Yeah, I'll just get it for the 3DO. And I also love the fact that the 3DO wasn't region-locked. I REALLY want to pick up Taito's Pyramid Intruder (released only in Japan)! I have a feeling that it's one of the rarer 3DO titles.junkeR wrote:I'd just get it for your 3DO. It'll be one more game to play on the system with its scarce collection of worthwhile games. I don't mind the cheesy FMV acting in some of the games, like the Shockwave series-honestly, I've seen worse in Hollywood movies, like Congo. Also, I don't think it's anywhere near as bad as some of the voice acting in most JRPG's.

I used to love it on 3DO, it was amazing at the time.
