cga to vga issue

Hi everyone I have an issue with my cga to vga scaler for some reason when I use it on my main monitor, which is a samsung syncmaster P2450 I get white flicking dots on the screen.

I have used two diffirent types of vga cables too and I still get the flashing white dots

please can someone help me

How are you feeding the scaler..... component perchance?

Yes I have plugged in my wii into it

Mmmm.... this is not the first time I have heard of this "issue" with component on this scaler.

Personally I've never had the problem myself, and I'm not sure if this is PSU related either.
