Weird discovery

Post by gundamalpha »

So I have just received a better quality component cables to use with Omega HDP, and I found it weird when my XBox connected to it has scanline appeared on my plasma TV. My first thought was may be I just forgot how it looked, and this is how it's supposed to look like. Then I connect the XBox directly onto the TV and the scanlines are gone and quickly reconnect to Omega to confirm the difference and there was. The key to this is connect the SLG3000 via the VGA port from the Omega. The scanlines quickly disappears on my TV, source from Omega component output after I disconnect the SLG3000 from Omega to TV via VGA. How is this even possible?

Honestly, I've read your text 3 times now and I don't understand what you're saying. Could you rephrase or post some pictures ?

Long story short, I get scanlines from SLG3000 despite the fact that it's not the output source from the Omega. I used both ways to connect to TV, component and VGA via SLG3000, and scanlines is visible when choosing component input on the TV, and the scanline is gone as soon as the VGA via SLG3000 is disconnected.
