Nope, ain't under the influence either, StarCreator. It's just my speciality with the useless arcade trivia thing going on, that's all.
Back to the OP's thread regarding RSG. You'd think that an American game publisher would want to pick up the exclusive rights to the DDP-DFK 1.5/DDP-DFK BL 360 port based off of the world-famous Donpachi series alone (despite the fact that Atlus USA only distributed the first Donpachi PCB conversion kits stateside back in 1995, they could've easily distributed the better sequel DDP PCB conversion kits as well for the 1997-1998 timeline but didn't). If Aksys doesn't want to do another 360 shmup port after their stint with the U.S. Deathsmiles 360 port, then it'd be best if another game publisher picked it up. It's a no-brainer to not to pass up on the golden opportunity to sell DDP-DFK 1.5/DDP-DFK BL ports for the American 360 market. I'm sure if Working Designs were still around, they'd be doing some kind of deal with Cave to bring DDP-DFK 1.5 to the USA with some kind of LE bundled set to spice things up.

So now that it has been confirmed to be playable on a US console, I have a question: Will the BL DLC be playable on a US console as well?

Did you end up going?
Re: RSG Confirmed to publish Dodonpachi Resurrection in Europe.
Yeah, but you'll need to create an EU xbl account to grab it. Not a huge deal.mdsfx wrote:So now that it has been confirmed to be playable on a US console, I have a question: Will the BL DLC be playable on a US console as well?

Side note: I just noticed your location is Ann Arbor - I grew up in that area
Re: RSG Confirmed to publish Dodonpachi Resurrection in Europe.
It IS a big deal: you'll need to get a hold of European fun bucks as well.
Re: RSG Confirmed to publish Dodonpachi Resurrection in Europe.
Oh yeah? I really like it here, grew up down in Coldwater as well a the Pittsburgh area, went out of my way to move up here after college. How long ago did you live here? We had Border Down machine at Pete's a couple years back, I'm looking into getting a Batrider PCB to put in one of their cabs as wellmdsfx wrote:Side note: I just noticed your location is Ann Arbor - I grew up in that area

OK it's a slightly bigger deal but still not much of one, it's not too hard to get ahold of them one way or another.Estebang wrote:It IS a big deal: you'll need to get a hold of European fun bucks as well.

Mails you a scan of the card, usually less than an hour after payment - 100% reliable, I use it all the time.

Great advice for you Americans indeed!

Importing points for imported DLC for imported games in PAL region of all places....
Wow, what does that mean?

Re: RSG Confirmed to publish Dodonpachi Resurrection in Europe.
Not if you have a paypal a/c. You can link any region paypal a/c to any number of (any region) gamertags. I know, because I've done it.Estebang wrote:It IS a big deal: you'll need to get a hold of European fun bucks as well.

I moved to chicago about 6 years ago when I was 22 to complete a BFA in Industrial Design. I eventually wound up in a fairly satisfying job so I stayed here.Deca wrote: Oh yeah? I've done it too on a Japanese account. That's why I said it wasn't a big deal. I've already created a UK email and account for this...bcass wrote:Not if you have a paypal a/c. When I checked (a few weeks ago) there was no option to link a Japanese gamertag with a paypal a/c. I guess they may have changed that since.mdsfx wrote:I've done it too on a Japanese account. I take that back. I only downloaded a few demos with the JP account. I didn't paypal with it.bcass wrote: When I checked (a few weeks ago) there was no option to link a Japanese gamertag with a paypal a/c. I guess they may have changed that since.
Re: RSG Confirmed to publish Dodonpachi Resurrection in Europe.
The older South University location burned down recently, but it's been empty and they've been across the street from it for a while now...I think the first time I went up there was maybe 2004? Was still living in Coldwater going to high school and made a trip out of it :p Maybe it wasn't the first fire at that place? I don't really know the details, just know it was just sitting there unused as long as I've been going to Pete's, and sometime last year it burned down or was demolished or bothmdsfx wrote:I moved to chicago about 6 years ago when I was 22 to complete a BFA in Industrial Design. But yeah, the place is still alive and kicking, just got a couple new games in (Crazy Taxi!) and some brand new pinball machines in the past month or so.

Sorry if its been mentioned before, but is one of the modes (either on disk or DLC) Ketsupachi? Am I just getting my wires crossed?
Re: RSG Confirmed to publish Dodonpachi Resurrection in Europe.
No Ketsupachi on disc or DLC announced at this time, sadly. I'm not sure if they've outright confirmed that it WON'T ever be coming out though.Avatar Ignis wrote:Sorry if its been mentioned before, but is one of the modes (either on disk or DLC) Ketsupachi? Am I just getting my wires crossed?

Will the Black Label DLC include the new music? I recall at least one version of the original black label as DLC did not.
Re: RSG Confirmed to publish Dodonpachi Resurrection in Europe.
Huh? If it's like the original JP release of DFK1.5, then the soundtrack for DFKBL is already on the disc and downloading the Black Label DLC just unlocks it for use in any of the game modes.KNekoSpy wrote:Will the Black Label DLC include the new music? I just recall seeing a video that had the BL levels and colors, but some of the DFK themes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOLlzaAy1WcnZero wrote:Huh? That one to be precise.

Re: RSG Confirmed to publish Dodonpachi Resurrection in Europe.
You CAN choose to play BL with the 1.5 soundtrack if desired, just like you can choose to play 1.5 with the BL music. Because one guy chose to doesn't mean the BL music is missing entirely.
Re: RSG Confirmed to publish Dodonpachi Resurrection in Europe.
Well, didn't know that. Although in that video it's mixed...the 'ending' theme and theme when Longhena blasts your ship are from Black Label, while the battle themes are 1.5 version.StarCreator wrote:You CAN choose to play BL with the 1.5 soundtrack if desired, just like you can choose to play 1.5 with the BL music.
