Deus Ex Machina (or something similar) on Spectrum. Still the weirdest game I've ever played.

Actually, Jaws might not be that bad. I read where you play the shark and seek harm.

Those look more like dumb games than weird ones. Except the titty claw action. That one definitely qualifies as a weird game.

Pulirula I think? Some Taito beat'em up. Definitely bizarre.

Yeah, that thing is a definite "what the heck is going on?" game just for the presentation, even if the actual gameplay isn't anything too unusual. I can't believe they picked that game to go on the "Taito Memories" collection, it just sticks out like a sore thumb amongst most everything else on there, just as it does when amongst every game ever made, heh heh.

While it's not as blatantly weird as PuLiRuLa, Keio Yugekitai 2 for the Saturn has some wonky stuff going on for much of the game...it might not seem quite as weird to me as it might to a Japanese player who'd get more of the jokes and whatnot, but as far as I'm concerned it's still pretty wonky, heh. It figures that Europe got a release of it (along with Parodius) and the US didn't, nuts.

Man. Pulirula is a bit weird. Vib Ribbon is also a little weird. But try Segare Ijiri or Groove Jigoku V (for starters) and then let's talk about weird games.

I also recall hearing about some Japanese PS2 game where the goal is to kiss everybody you encounter..."Chulip," I think it was called. I haven't actually played it myself, though.

Last I read this title had been delayed but was still slated for a U.S. release. Looks interesting to say the least.

Hmm, if that's true then I guess that Katamari Damacy's success has emboldened other publishers into bringing weirder stuff here...still haven't played KD myself, actually, I'll hafta try to get ahold of it eventually.

Stretch Panic by Treasure was pretty weird. I loved those female enimies whose breasts doubled as propellar blades.

Sure, you'll just have to be the one to actually be knowledgable enough to catch all the errors and whatnot, but I'll gladly pencil 'em in for ya. As a shmupper ya gotta save as much wear on your digits and such as possible, after all. ;)

That new DS game Osu! Tatake! Ouendan! seems to be pretty weird. Basically, you have three male cheerleader superhero types that appear out of nowhere when people are in distress and perform motivational dances. I was thinking of heading over to the import shop to see if they have it this weekend.

Whoever mentioned Vic Ribbon:

I really don't know what I would consider a weird game to me. Maybe Ecco, but that's it.
