In Lethal Thunder version, you still tap rapidly to increase your shot frequency, but can then hold down shot to leave it at that level, unlike Thunder Blaster where it just goes back down. Enemy placements and boss patterns were also changed, although I haven't played it enough to understand why, presumably to make it more difficult where you need to use your rechargeable bomb more, loosing your shot frequency, and then tap rapidly to get shot back up afterwards. So in general, just more balanced than having to always mash the shot button at all times.

I bought it for a a really good price : 60€

The game is relatively unknown and best known under the name : Metamoqester (International version) .
I'm not sure about it but it seems to me this pcb (Oni) is quite rare .

Just found a move list :

Bought Xexex pcb from Vyxx. The sound was still working but I noticed the caps on the sound chip were leaking. Not good because even though the sound works now, the next day it might not. So I immediately sent it to someone that could replace the caps for me. I just got the board back with new caps on the sound chip. Shouldn't have to worry about the sound dying on me for another 15 years or so. :)

Strangely enough, I own absolutely no Konami PCBs, so thanks for the heads up. I wonder how many other companies did something similar, or was this Konami only?

Met up with some other Swedes yesterday and got some cool stuff.

I had a bunch of my custom move strips printed (Guwange, E.S.P. Ra.De., Ibara, Battle Garegga, Outzone, Ketsui (English) and I mounted this one and got a couple of pictures of it as I also got the game yesterday:

Dave, I have to say i'm a bit surprised about the lack of Konami PCBs. You are really missing out.

Not all of them have the digital sound control PCB that suffers from failing caps.

I'm not quite sure what it is, but something about the quality or style of Konami shmups that I never really enjoyed. The only exception being Parodius series (now that has style) but has remained relatively low on my want list. Outside of shmups, I wouldn't mind picking up Gaiapolis, if it wasn't for this suicidal sound thing.

I actual owned Lightning Fighters / Trigon for about a month before selling it...and I rarely sell my PCBs.

Maybe it's that I never liked Gradius from the start, I was more of an R-Type IREM fan back then. Although I think Salamander series (and the PS2 Gradius V) is better. I did like one of the Twinbee's when we played it during STGT, so I should look back to this series. Thanks Rob!

What a fine SH-3 Galuda 2 PCB in all her naked glory. Be sure to take good care of her by spending some quality "one-on-one" time with her.

(^ Crystal of Kings) I've enjoyed the game - played it through a couple times. There are 4 characters to choose from and they did a real nice job of making them different and each has their own strong suits.

Yes, this system is pretty damn adorable, I wish there had been more releases. I believe there are only 2, CoK and Evolution Soccer. Top Blade V is listed as a release in Korea, but i've never seen a copy in the wild.
