Component switch into Component switch?

I have run out of room on my component switch, which is quite large. So, I was thinking about getting a really small component switch, to add another system. Would that cause a loss of video quality?

In my experience it's not a problem for 15 and 31khz signals. If you go HD you might see a decrease in quality much faster. I'm sure some of my signals run through 4 or 5 machines before reaching the display and I don't see any degradation.

The new switch should have sufficient built-quality though.
