Not going for score at all this time around, but I reached the stage 5 midboss for the first time tonight. Intense.

My best run yet and even a slight score increase. I died in the enemy barrage just preceding the boss.

No TLB yet. I could have gotten to him a few times now, but I always get really greedy with bombs just before killing the Stage 5 boss. Not sure why, since they won't really do me any good against Aki.

That's the plan. :D

Once I reach the TLB I may start learning a scoring path since surviving the final attack is not really a goal I care to spend an extra six months pursuing. I believe that I can beat LUN's 200m score with a better path since I'm already hitting 120m with a path that almost completely ignores scoring opportunities.

I guess we'll see.

Lx4 is a big step and nothing to scoff at, you improved a lot over time, Wlf!

I agree this game's original mode is a nice 1cc.

would you mind adding mushi 1.5 to this thread? im actually playing it at the moment and would be nice to post scores somewhere to keep motivation up and on the slim chance someone else is playing, trade techniques.. im not hardcore enough to maintain my own thread tho..

Actually guys, after a few years of holding this high score thread, I'm going to be leaving it to someone else now !

:]

Perhaps 1.5 should have its own thread linked to this one, as we have too many tables here already.

Who will take on the Mushihime Sama table ?
