It's common for people to involuntarily say something or sing/hum when they recall embarrassing memories. Something to do with the brain trying to block out the memory in some kind of forced override, almost like diverting attention from the thought.
What you're exhibiting sounds a bit different though. I don't know why you would feel good saying random phrases in bizarre dialects, but each to their own. At least you're not saying "Niggas ain't shit but a bunch of dicks" in public. That would be a real John McClane moment.

That is fascinating. I have actually done that a few times. I agree, it's a defense mechanism used consciously or unconsciously to keep unwanted and unpleasant memories at bay. I mentioned this in my college essay on Tourette's Syndrome (which I had growing up to a ridiculous degree, and overcame the disorder once I decided to stop taking my meds one day on a whim.). I'm guessing the two are at least casually related, but I would need to look at many more cases before I could state this as a fact.

I'd say it's highly likely the two are casually related, that's a fair assumption. They're both near-involuntary reactions to thought process. Then again I ain't no doctor.
