I usually swap the blue speakers for the yellow and listen to a bit of Netsky now and then.
Now that Rando's started off with a bit of EuroTrash

(I don't mind watching Sarah bounce whilst Shuffling, to be honest)
Its time for more EuroSounds

I can't help but like this one :D

In fact I'm only into Italian music at the moment - DJ Mad Dog, Alien T, Amnesys, Anime.

I believe almost every single genre or movement in music (except symphonic powermetal) has the potential to produce something truly great.

Personally, I hate soul, funk, disco, rap/hip hop, and R'n'B and I think all of these genres have been able to come up with some really great pieces of music. I'd include jazz as well, but that genre is so vast, it's similar to saying "all music played on a (or without a) guitar sucks"

Rn'B has never come up with a great piece of music.

I'm ready to believe that. Gotta admit I can't think of any examples of it.

Gold Dust's dubstep version is up to 12.3M now. What the fuck? TG this one is only 2:20 long, I almost fell asleep listening to it. The D&B version slays it.

Yes I feel the dubstep meh. Give me Rotterdam techno(stuff like BMIIDX 9th's "Rottel-the-Mercury", Ridge Racer 2's "Dat Dan Day", Battle Garegga's "Erupter", etc) instead.

Good music is good music, whether or not it's from a GST. I could spend a full hour or two listening to Ridge Racer music. (Rio Hamamoto's RR6 track "Road Mauler" was playing as I typed this)
Kinect? KIN NOT.

Good question.

Lots of people with no taste perhaps. That wouldn't exactly be anything new either.

To me dubstep sounds like someone is experimenting with powertools more than anything.

Since you're obviously clueless, Elvis and Michael Jackson both had legendary tracks under the RNB genre.

Wait, wait.. you're not serious, right? Because there's a lot of really great RnB. I've been listening a bit to Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings lately, and the old Motown tunes are excellent. Sure, later on, it mostly came to represent pop cheese, but that's not really what it is at its core (and even some of the pop cheese is pretty great; I see MJ was already mentioned).

You're talking about Rhythm & Blues, not modern R&B (Rhythm & Bass if I understand correctly.)
All that old stuff is magic, I love motown.

I'm talking about modern R&B: highly manufactured, completely commercial and utterly horrible muzac.

A better explanation here.

Oh! Terrible pop music aimed at teenagers that nobody will be listening to in five years! Hmmmm yeah I can't decide if that's a different genre or just a complete bastardization of a good genre. E.G., isn't "Def Leppard" still metal even if it's grown in a lab?

But then there's stuff like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBhdIcb84Hw .. I really like this album a lot (massive amounts of compression aside). It has some of the same production style of the pop crap, but it's actually well-written and the singing is good. The lyrics in this particular example are kind of brain dead, but other tracks on the album are clever. Same genre?

Guilty pleasures are guilty pleasures.

Late '80s/early '90s synth pop had just one virtue: composers were creative with melodic lines, which is not something that can be said about modern pop cheese.
"The only desire the Culture could not satisfy from within itself was one common to both the descendants of its original human stock and the machines [...]: the urge not to feel useless."
