There are no words to describe how much I hate Aksys. Jealous as fuck here.
I'll tell you right now that you getting this awesome stuff sure as shit wasn't Aksys's fault/decision to make.
I most definitely hate your favorite shooter.

red new astrocity was a beat up cab with ruined artwork that i painted metallic red (has metal fleck sparkles in the paint). I use it primarily as a vert jamma cab for cave pcbs. I have tryed to not post pics of it because I didnt want to get flamed. Someday Ill post pics of all my cabs, I just never feel they are in "finished" condition and dont want people whining that ive painted some.

The good shit:
Image
A huge (for me) haul, thanks mostly to GP.
Mahou Daisakusen (X68000): Stole it, basically. Perfect arcade port in excellent condition.
Akumajo Dracula (X68000): Excellent condition as well. Completely complete, with reg card and unused "System Disk" sticker.
Last Battalion (X68000): Spiritual, if not literal, sequel to the PCE shmup "Override". Just as fast, if not faster.
Akumajo Dracula (MSX): Excellent, excellent condition for it's age. Almost no fading whatsoever. Damn near mint.
Akumajo Dracula X: Chi no Rondo strategy guide: Complete, full-color walkthrough for Drac X. 114 pages.
Rockman Mega World: JP version, obviously. Complete, though manual is slightly rough. Wanted the Euro version, but this will do for now. Also picked up a Game Genie so I can play the damn thing.

The random:
Image

Rockman 1-4 figures: Circa 1992. Two characters each, all still sealed. Never saw them before.
Deathsmiles 2X LE: Meh.
Dragon Crystal: I'll take my roguelikes wherever I can get them. Also, the first non-GP item.
Ghosts 'n Goblins GBC: Port of the fairly lame NES game. Still good for on the go.
Dragon Warrior 1 & 2 GBC: Pretty good, basic, RPG on the go.

Don't worry, people here are VERY picky about that. Moving from composite to S-Video is a leap in quality, but anything above that is a more subtle improvement. Unless, of course, we're talking about a high definition setup.

I haven't actively browsed/used this forum in many years and it's no longer an accurate representation of me.

I have retired from genre-specific content creation after 13 years, but I'll always love this little genre in my own personal way.

Used teen panties with stank is unbeatable.

Ka-Bar Peter Jan Fin Tanto, smooth edge. Barely under state limits (4 & 7/8"). The design was a flop for Ka-Bar and they were asking $100+
which is more than most of Ka-Bar's Becker line (USA Made). This knife is made in Taiwan, D2 steel and 3/16" thick. The jimping,
sheath, weight and overall craftsmanship are excellent . Amazon was dumping the Tanto's (Drop Points were/are more) off at ~$30.
They have a few w/ serrations left. Impossible to find a fixed blade w/ D2 steel and this well made at that price.

Although it's a marketed as a tactical knife (bit obvious), it works perfect as a camping knife. The false edge (the Fin) on the top can be troublesome when
batoning, but it still works fine. Pictures do not give the knife proper justice. It feels great in the hand and perfect in a reverse grip.
Only things I would like are some custom micarta handles and to have the knife reprofiled with a convex edge. My happiest purchase in a very long time. 10/10
I got that same knife, $30 was a steal. Did you see a couple days later it shot up $90?
Yea, I saw that. Tanto's are down a little at ~$80 now. But amazon lowered the price on the drop points. That's what I originally wanted.

Nothing's really banned in Japan. They just say it is, everyone holds their breath for 5 minutes, and then they carry on as usual.

It's just another one of those JAPJAC finger pointing parodies going around. Sven666's legendary thread parody using JAPJAC's posting style + pics of finger pointing at various things was hilarious but it got locked up before it went further down the tubes/drain. Always something up for a good laugh/chuckle anyways.

For bragging rights. I had been telling people about the place to get them for years, but anytime I told the story every internet reader says "that's illegal in Japan now and you cant get them anymore". Well - BAM! I have dirty panties with the price tag on them. End of story. If I want to sniff panties, I'll grab a pair of my wifes. :?

Neither did I, until I started trolling Yahoo! Japan for random Castlevania stuff. The ones up now (and have been up for a few months, no suprise) are BIN at 14,000yen. No way in hell it's worth that. Quite nice, however. Full-color, slip cover, and details pretty much everything.
