Political crisis in Brazil: impeachment to come?

Has anyone heard of the Brazilian vote-for-cash scandal before? It started in May, as a minor bribery case, and has escalated until it reached the very top of the government. Day after day, it sounds more likely that the president will be impeached.

If that happens... I'll make a toast, because I voted for the other guy!

I'm not too familiar with Brazilian politics, but that sounds pretty crazy.

Nah, it's just politics as usual...it's just actually been discovered and caused a reaction there.

Yeah, I read about it in the Economist. I was under the impression that at this stage it was all accusations and the investigation was underway.
