LKV7000 & PS2 please help

I just recently got a LKV7000 to use with my PS2.

When i hooked up my PS2 to to my lcd tv via the LKV7000 no signal came through to the tv.

I set my ps2 to non rgb and have tried both a PAL PS2 and an NTSC PS2 and neither of which worked.

I hooked the PS2 to my LCD TV via component cable and this worked fine just. I also tested the LVK7000 with my PSP3000 and this too worked great.

is there something that I'm doing wrong???

The LKV7000 only accepts progressive signals (480p). On initial boot up your PS2 only outputs 480i (interlaced). Only some PS2 games support 480p and this has to be activated either during boot or within the game's menu.
