Just visiting Seattle for the weekend, read about a DOJ a Pink Gorilla and got excited to put in a score, then read that that was a long time ago.
soooo, any arcades here in seattle with a shmup or two locked and loaded curently??
Shmups in Seattle?
Re: Shmups in Seattle?
The Pink Gorilla storefront is still open, but unfortunately the arcade part of it is no more. The Gameworks in downtown Seattle has a Raiden Fighters cab, but other than that there isn't much for STGs in Seattle anymore.
Of course, you're still welcome to stop by the store if you're in the area - we have a few good shmups for sale that might be to your liking![/plug]

I haven't seen any real arcades in Seattle myself. We have Gameworks, but I somehow doubt that they have a bank of candy cabs set up with DFK. bobbyconover has about 10 cabs, but I'm not sure how they're set up.

I have been to the Gameworks in Seattle, and it kicked ass. No shoot 'em up love, unfortunately.

Yeah, the NW scene for shmups and arcade game in general is pretty damn lacking. I really don't understand why Bobby couldn't eek out an agreement with Pink Gorilla. PG Shmup day was awesome!
