For dunpeal2064,

Yeah, that DC GD-Rom disc of Zero Gunner 2 is ace. I'd like to hear your take on it. It does play quite well with an DC Ascii/Agetech arcade stick setup if you've got one. Plus the fact that you can save your best superplays to a VMU and watch/learn from them is another plus in my book. I recall waiting with anticipation of it's intial release and got it a few days later from NCSX back in the day. Quite a catchy "Attract" screen indeed.

Makes me wonder if Psikyo had Gunbird 3 in mind for a sequel for their third outing on PCB format (considering that Dragon Blaze was their very last arcade shmup PCB offering anyways)?

Yeah, Zero Gunner 2 is great, and it seems they did a fantastic job porting it. Oddly enough, I actually found this copy for sale at Space Cat in San Jose. They had shelves of games among their huge comic book/trading card collection. There was a nice import section as well, which is where I found Zero Gunner 2! They also had copies of Border Down, Karous, Under Defeat, Trizeal, and a Saturn copy of Thunderforce V!

They knew their prices though, as the games were all close to or over $100, and Border Down was $150.

I do wish that I had that arcade stick for my dreamcast, as the stock controller is not one of my favorites. I'll have to look into getting my hands on one.

New sound system... VERY happy with it.

Receiver handles EVERYTHING audiowise and does an amazing job of it. Those new Wharfedale tower speakers can be bi-wired and man do they sound good. The best sound I have ever had in my home.

All at the price of 500.00 total.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Wow, that's an impressive PCE/SuperGrafx/SFC/FC haul you've got there, dingsbums.

What's the name of that Riot produced game to the right of the SCD game Gotzendiener? And how's the gameplay of SCD Gotzendiener? It's an RPG, right?

I've noticed that the artwork on Namco's PCE Final Lap Twin is the same with the NEC release for the TurboGrafx-16 version of the same name. The AI is quite notorious in the later races if playing a single player game session. It is quite a challenge to try to beat/overtake the 1st place AI car opponent to vie for 1st place later on -- need to place in 1st just to advance to the more progressively harder techincal race courses.

And how's the game play of that PCE Zero 4 Champ (or is it titled Zero Champ 4?) Hu-Card? I recall that particular racing title never got a proper release for the American TurboGrafx-16/Turbo Duo marketbase.

Ka-Bar Peter Jan Fin Tanto, smooth edge. Barely under state limits (4 & 7/8"). The design was a flop for Ka-Bar and they were asking $100+
which is more than most of Ka-Bar's Becker line (USA Made). This knife is made in Taiwan, D2 steel and 3/16" thick. The jimping,
sheath, weight and overall craftsmanship are excellent . Amazon was dumping the Tanto's (Drop Points were/are more) off at ~$30.
They have a few w/ serrations left. Impossible to find a fixed blade w/ D2 steel and this well made at that price.

Although it's a marketed as a tactical knife (bit obvious), it works perfect as a camping knife. The false edge (the Fin) on the top can be troublesome when
batoning, but it still works fine. Pictures do not give the knife proper justice. It feels great in the hand and perfect in a reverse grip.
Only things I would like are some custom micarta handles and to have the knife reprofiled with a convex edge. My happiest purchase in a very long time. 10/10

The Riot game is Pop 'n Magic - a single screen platformer like Parasol Stars or Don Doko Don. See here: http://www.pcengine.co.uk/HTML_Games/Pop_n_Magic.htm
To be honest I have not played Zero 4 Champ yet (but I have ssen a YT Video & it looks like a Out Run clone with story / adventure elements).

I got that same knife, $30 was a steal. Did you see a couple days later it shot up $90?

kernow disapproves, quick post some antidepressants so he can relate.

Euro AH3 is out already? I guess it's released here on the 26th then. I've always been interested in AH3 but the chances of having a local scene are small to none. The NZ fighting scene rolls with SSF4 and that's about it.
