Prince of Persia, mint, for 8 Euros.

I love the cover artwork! (Also, it's the best version of the original PoP, if you ask me.)

LD-Games from Data East.
Still looking Time Gal & Ninja Hayate, if anybody wants to let go of theirs...

I miss Tarja. Its not that the new chick is bad, and I can't blame them for booting her... but dammit, she was awesome.Matskat wrote:Battletoad wrote:Last Hope Soundtrack

Amorphis is a guilty pleasure of mine....back in the DAY I was a beta tester for Neuros, an american made, open source MP3 player. They gave me an unlimited account to eMusic, which after a few months became very boring.
Long story short:
I started going on blind downloading sprees and stumbled on a track by Amorphis called "Elegy" from the album of the same name...
Color me impressed!
So seeing that CD brought it all back....now I'm off to download pics of Tarja, Nightwish's old vocalist....
I'm using a Cyrus CD6S player. It's pretty good.rapoon wrote:

after being broken for almost 3 years (lens transport was fucked).
took it in for repairs last month, got it back yesterday.
fixed lens transport. laser does not move. puck secures the disc, disc moves over
lens when listening.
I've owned Rotel, Cambridge Audio and Creek. None of them compare to the XA5.

I love it. Has the fame "British" sound to it. Very musical and has PHAT. Great price for $500 used locally CIB.rapoon wrote:Domino wrote:I'm using a Cyrus CD6S player. It's pretty good.
I've heard a lot of ++ things about Cyrus products but I've never actually heard
one. How do you like it? Are you using it as a transport + external DAC or just by itself?
Previously, I had a pacific valve DAC hooked up to my Rotel (unless I was listening to
an HDCD). btw, check this thing out: USB DAC
I'm the same way: physical formats. I have so many goddamn CD's I don't know what to do with most of them. Last count was ~600. I know that isn't shit compared to some of the guys over at headfi.org. I'd like to make the move to Vinyl, I already have a decent collection Deciding on a player is the hard part - any suggestions? Those Grado's are really nice cans (have a pair of Sennheiser 380's. They're fine, but I'd like a nicer pair. something around the ~$300 range. I recently ordered a pair of MEElectronics IEM's for iPod usage) Can you link the Azure (the audeze??)Domino wrote:

I'm using it by itself. I could use it as a transport via Toslink if I want do but the sound out of the CD player is good for a long time for me.
The M2 Tech stuff is good but they did pull off a bait and switch so you need to be careful on the inside. There's tons of USB transports hitting the market, but my main setup is the Cyrus. I like my physical formats.![]()
I'm waiting until next year to start doing upgrades to my setup. My setup is alright (Grado RS1-i, vintage 70s Fisher/Sanyo receiver for headphone amp, Cyrus), but I want to upgrade the stuff (keep the Cyrus, get the Azure LCD-2 (I heard it and I like it better than the Grado) and get most likely the Schiit Lyr headphone amp).
Before I left the vinyl bandwagon I was using a VPI Scout setup with a Grado Gold1 cartridge. Works out fine. Just the Grado keep having the infamous "Grado Dance."rapoon wrote:I'm the same way: physical formats. I have so many goddamn CD's I don't know what to do with most of them. Last count was ~600. I believe this one is on Yahoo Japan right now at around 18k (this), but it's not painted (from what I understand) and in parts. I may take some pictures of my stuff later if you like.
