Well, slight improvement... I can see this kind of being the opposite of Parodius for me, I started off positive about this game but I'm getting more and more unsure how I feel about it.

Scoreboard updated.
Check out the dynamic scoreboard: now letting you see previous week standings on the spot, as well! Gonna add some statistical fluff, such as standard deviations etcetera later.

And I used to be so good at this game. I've been out of it for awhile.

Yeah, can't get shmupmame to work, as i'd have to configure input, set it to display 2 with the exact aspect ratio. I got it to work on display 2 (tate), but I'm unable to get the aspect ratio right and configuring controls (TE Fight Stick) also doesn't work. Maybe I'm just too retarded. ;<Battletoad wrote:Lag doesn't seem to be too bad in Shmupmame.hwl wrote:A, right. Nice! ;fBattletoad wrote:Now that's exactly what I had hoped for. Huge input lag.

Hey Dex, would you prefer us to update our score by editing old posts or just post new ones?
I'm liking this game, will have to pick up Shienryu for Saturn when I am not broke. Wish I wasn't stuck using a keyboard, but it brings me back to my C64 days

I don't know what to think. The game's fun enough, but...the random extend items are sort of a turnoff.
I'll shoot for at least the second score extend, I guess. And maybe the loop.

Made it to the loop for the first time and didn't die until somewhere in stage 11. There are so many bombs.

Link because it's huge.
I'm rather surprised, considering how I died early stage 3 at ~600k the try immediately before this one.
