Was a little confused by the wording, wasn't sure if we'd be put into some teams or just grouped together by region for scoring.

On that basis no one save the organisers should be able to chose Free Agents. We've only got three in our team and I cannot play for two weeks so this needs sorting soon.

Free agents can submit scores, since no team is required in a submission form.

And they should be assigned to teams within an hour, anyway.

Sorry it wasn't done point blank on midnight EST, but I am on holiday without my own laptop, which understandably makes this part of it a little difficult.

Lastly, in the previous tournaments I ran people didn't like the fact games were well known, and indeed, I pretty much ran out of well known, good shmups. So this year, multiple people chose the games and they are much more low-radar, so you can enjoy shmups you otherwise wouldn't check out.
