Can someone please explain what all the menu options mean in Super God Trooper Zeroigar for PC-FX and how the gameplay works.
I get that it's to do with experience points...or something.
I thought there'd be a translation or walkthrough somewhere on the interweb since this game seems quite notorious but i can't find nothing nowhere...

How much were you thinking of paying for it?uroko-sakanabito wrote:Really?

The gameplay is addictive, there's loads of replay value and it would be the top prize in anyone's collection. Also I'm sure it's resale price will hold and appreciate so it's an OK investment.
But whether any game is worth $150+ is a question that only the collectors can answer.

I had this game quite a ways back and do not recall anything special about it. Nothing that makes it deserving of its price tag anyway.. Perhaps my memory is faulty..?
Re: Super God Trooper Zeroigar - Please Explain
The really remarkable thing about this game is the levelling up system and it's got lot's of nice different game modes too.
It's loads of fun to play but surely only a serious collector would lay out so much dollar for it eh?

Re: Super God Trooper Zeroigar - Please Explain
I adored Zeroigar back when I had it. I even 1CC'd it and put a fair amount of time into the mode where it saves the levels of the various weapons. Final level was a blast, and the final boss was pretty damn cool.
Unfortunately, I've long since parted with it and my PC-FX. One day I hope to reacquire both though.

It's a fun game with some nice anime scenes. The main reason it goes for the price it does is that it's the only shmup for the PC-FX. It's simply a matter of rarity, much like Zenki FX. For a PC-FX owner though I would recommend picking it up. It's an enjoyable title and one that's unlikely to ever be available any other way and it holds it's value. Worst case play it for a month or so and then resell it for what you paid. Best case you love it and it's a nice addition to your collection. Plus you get cool points for have an uber-exclusive shmup. Just don't expect something like Radiant Silvergun.Austin wrote:I had this game quite a ways back and do not recall anything special about it.
