I totally agree that having too many games is a bad thing, especially if you like many genres like I do.

While I generally dont pirate AAA / commercial games, a couple of years ago when I first got into indie, freeware, emulators, shmups and then doujin I went abit crazy trying to find as many games as I could find. And for 1 - 2 years 98% of my game time was spent playing free games (shmups and 2D platformers), even though I continued to buy AAA games which never left my game shelf.

For the past few months Ive been trying to catch up with whats on my game shelf and steam account, but its a slow process as I tend to try to complete them plus do all the side quests. This is becoming a bone of contention for me as it seems that its more common for new games to have a short main quest, but a shitload of side quests and achievements. Im playing The Last Remnant PC atm and I must have put over 50 hours into the game and im only 1/3 though the main quest and sub quests. 67 sub quests in total FFS! My guess is that half of those sub quests were DLC on the 360 original.

Its because ive got so many games to play both legal and illegal that ive come to prefer legal games even more, as when ive spent good money on something im more inclined to want to play it, leading to a better gaming experience all around.

Nah, the 360 version of TLR had around 70 sidequests on disc as well. The annoying part was having to follow a guide, because a lot of them are easy to permanently miss. It's a long game (took around 90-100 hours for me to complete), so take your time and enjoy it. :)
