is there a mirror of the pics? all i get are 1x1 pixel filler images. was it just basic paper cutout doll stuff that minzoku posted or what?

I did not save the images. They were:

in undamned's topic post:
1: Mushihime-tama (puzzle game with Reko) promotional image with Reko reaching forward with a custom ball-top joystick placed in front of her outstretched hand. (top image here)
2: Promotional image of Reko as a child. (black and white inset of same image)
3: Mushihime miniature cardboard Reko standee with paper-doll outfits. Reko has no default costume, but is depicted like a Barbie doll without clothing--bumps exist, but there are no nipples, nor is there pubic hair.

An animated .GIF of the Reko image in #3 cycling through the various outfits. (this image works for me, as Minzoku's recent post suggests)

er misworded my post, meant to ask if the stuff in the original post was basically just the stuff in the image that minzoku posted.

totally forgot about the mushi poko ball top. anyone know if that was just a figure that attached to the existing ball or if it was a separate screw on top on its own? (and if anyone has one, im sure you could sell it to zak for a few hundred)

Dude, it's a cartoon character. Seems kind of lame to get aroused from a drawing. Real women are much better than cells drawn by some guy in Japan who probably can't get any except from his cardboard cut-outs.

^^ Well, drawings/paintings/photo edits have the potential to be closer to "perfect" than mere human beings can ever hope to be even with severe cosmetic surgery, so--visually speaking--they're sometimes superior.

Not even commenting on the original content in question, I've noticed in this topic that a lot of people are having difficulty separating sex and sexuality from pedophilia, which I find to be more than a bit scary.

Well - there are two problems here. Firstly, different cultures have different standards with regards to what is acceptable and what is borderline or outright pedophilia. For example, the age of consent is different across the globe. Hypothetically speaking - lets say there's a hot 18yr old chick in the states (although isn't it 21 or something in some states? I lose track). She's probably got all the right curves in the right places - but now, let's say she still looks identical but is really 14. Is the hot chick no longer a hot chick? Actually no - but people are conditioned by groupthink and media to think that appreciating those curves is now an evil to be demonised to the ends of the earth - which is odd because in some places in Europe, as I recall, 14 is the age of consent - some even lower!

This situation has always existed - I suspect it always will and there's no easy answer at all. Note - I think we can all agree here on what is blatantly unacceptable, where a child /looks/ like a child. From there it's screwed up.

The second problem is Cave blatantly playing the sexually attractive young girl card. If this had been a western game, Reko would probably be claimed to be 18, and all of a sudden it would all be ok, despite the fact that she would still look identical - although maybe with an even bigger chest and blonde hair. And a Charlies Angels leather outfit, marketed by XS games. Ugh. In some pictures Reko looks cute, in some she looks older and very nice (see my sig), in the original promo she doesn't even have a human looking face really. The OST figurine looks like a friends younger sister who everyone knew would turn into the hottest thing on two legs, but nobody wanted to own up to noticing. The LE figurine is a young child.

If people were saying 'wow look at the LE figurine - I'd totally hit that' (and not in jest), then I'd be worried about them and any child they come into contact with. Liking the image Cave put out for the actual game though, does not warrant a pedophilia claim, that's totally ridiculous. Just walk down my street one time and you'll see young girls (I can't even work out how old they really are anymore - and I'm GLAD that I'm too old now for whatever age they are to be relevant) that make Rekos outfit look like a nun costume, so it hardly seems fair to villify Cave either or accuse them of wacky Japanese values.

I still wouldn't play with a cardboard doll though, but I'm looking forward to the new puzzle game - Uo Poko rocked after all.

If people could learn to disagree and argue without it degenerating into a flamewar the mods won't need to lock anything. You could always switch to <insert other shooter forum here> instead - we'll keep a place warm for your inevitable return

It's always the same - people start to argue, then a few go too far and it's all "fuck you, dumbass" "no, fuck you - retard". Then it gets locked, which is a shame as the current rules are hugely toned down versions of the original draft (which very nearly went as far as listing bad words), which I did on purpose in the hope that people would act like adults if they were treated like them first.

Huh, I own a copy of the Mushihime Tama "nude" Reko flyer.

It's not like there's nipples or a pussy on it. I didn't think it was such a big deal, but if you guys are into that sort of thing I'm not one to judge.
