Yes and I forgot to get that 360 headset from Kiken too, although my XBL Gold just expired yesterday and it'll probably be another 6 months before I renew.

What I learned from the shmupmeet: I'm not nearly as bad at DDP DFK as I thought I'd be! Whoohoo!

Next time, definitely squeezing in Bullet Soul and whatever other new shmups may be around by then (feels unlikely).

I'm unsure exactly where are the limits of the DC area, but where I'm staying is in Woodbridge, about one hour South from the city. My hosts can drop me off at the springfield metro station no problem so I can get downtown rather easily.

So if anyone could pick me up from any DC metro station and get to wherever we could all meet up, I'd be happy to have a DC Shmupmeet :)

We can definitely pick you up at the Metro I think that would be take the Blue/Orange line to Metro Center, then you can ride the Red line to Shady Grove all the way to the end and you're basically at our place. It's a bit of a ride, but the drive isn't much better with the construction.

I can do a DDP or DOJ BL demo if you want if you have a DDP and/or DOJ BL PCBs around. Or even better on a MAME setup that doesn't lag (seems pretty rare though!). That's always fun to do.

I have both the Saturn and PS1 ports of DDP and have both DDP DOJ for PS2 and DDP DOJ BLEX for 360 (along with both the Saturn and PS1 ports of DP and the 360 ports of DDP DFK and DDP DFK BL). And you can try your hand at DDP2 since Zakk has the PCB.

And the 23rd sounds good. Guess that's our date then.

Cool, I'll ask off work. I doubt my gaming rig/tate setup will be assembled by July 23rd, but I do have Crimzon Clover available if anyone else wants to install it.

I've also got DonPachi, Darius Gaiden, and Thunder Force V on Saturn, if anyone wants to give those a spin =).

Of course, after I'm the one to set the date, my relatives have actually changed their schedule so they are now coming the day I said I was going to be free, and I'm only just now hearing about this *facepalm*

This most likely means I will be skipping out in the middle to have dinner (in Kentlands, so I won't really have to travel far), but at worst case I'm just going to have to miss this one.
