What the heck is going on? Any thoughts? Fixes?
This like the second crt monitor to fail on me. I'm think I'm cursed. :x

Feel sorry for you man...especially after all the drama with the xrgb2+. As for the problem, I have no idea how to fix it or even where to start, Just offering my sympathies...

I guess third times a charm. :)
Bought this 1084 monitor from a local seller and it's in near mint condition. It looked so good that I couldn't believe it was sitting in this guys garage for years. :o

When I got my 1080 monitor, the guy said that there wasn't any screen burn-in issues and he bought it brand new back in the day. When I powered it up with a PCB and a supergun setup, it was super razor-sharp. He was glad to get rid of it since it was no longer being used along with an accompanying Amiga 500 computer setup.

Finally got one these Amiga 1080 monitors I've read so much about. It a nice monitor and arcade games in RGB is superb, but somehow I always run into problems. Here it is, I can't play Ikari Warriors or Victory Road pcbs on this monitor. They work fine on my Commodore 1084 but not on my Amiga 1080. I find it very strange that pcbs like Outzone and Sky Shark which have odd syncs have no problems displaying on this monitor, but Ikari and Victory Road does? :?

Below is photo of the Amiga 1080 displaying Victory Road. Ikari Warriors does the same thing

here's list of the things I've tried

(1) Jrok sync cleaner = no change
(2) Remade RGB cables 4x times = no change
(3) Added resistors to the sync and GND = no change or no picture
(4) Vhold pot = no change

Anybody got any good ideas?
