hey guys, I'm not sure if this belongs in shmups chat or development so please move it if I am wrong. My new shmup for the Android was released last weekend. My shmup is a first attempt and it's just me and my programmer so remember it's alot harder than it looks.
That being said I like my game and it is the best shmup I've played on android. It is a vertical scrolling shooter. We have a demo and a full version released. The demo has unfinished code and the paid version is complete and runs alot smoother. Go ahead and give it a try if you have an android phone and let me know how you like it. Please be kind as it was extremely difficult to make.
A couple notes:
-works best on phones with 1ghz processors (phones 1 year or less old)
-has a minimum resolution of 320x480 (won't work on lg optimus)
We will be working on future projects for the android and may port to the iphone if we ever have the opportunity to use a mac.

"Development" is probably the better place for this, will move there momentarily.

Screenshots and video footage will do well to promote it for sure, but if you're going to judge a game based on those alone, it isn't going to be any help to the developer.Udderdude wrote:Screenshots? Videos? Anything? D:

Not putting those up however virtually guarantees no one tries it out. There's no excuse for not providing these if the developer seriously wants anyone to try the game and thus be in a position to provide feedback.BPzeBanshee wrote:Screenshots and video footage will do well to promote it for sure, but if you're going to judge a game based on those alone, it isn't going to be any help to the developer.Udderdude wrote:Screenshots? This is also true too, and the lack of such is undeniable evidence of the thread starter that he hasn't done this sort of thing before. I just wanted to point out the reverse is true as well, since recently people here have been trashing new projects based on nothing else but screenshots and videos instead of actually trying it, which is stupid and helpful to no one.the2bears wrote:Not putting those up however virtually guarantees no one tries it out.
