Shit is garbage. Want shit to happen. need to beat some games. I love cats and alcohol and boobies and thats about it at this piont. Honestly though, if anything my descent into drunken madness has provided me with a better insight on the world of hunmans. So much of my hate has left this nasty stratosphere of angst and I have accepted humans for the puny mortals they are. Hedonism makes sense and altruism is dead. If anything solipsism reigns in this hate filled amalgamation of pre-2012 impedingin doom. Randomly bumped into the bass player from my old band last night, whom I hadn't seen in well over 8 years, and a few beers turned into several beers and I didn't get home until around 1am, having to get up for work at 6.

I was still slightly drunk when I woke up, and now it's around 1pm and I have a wicked head ache.

Serves me right for drinking that much on a Wednesday night.

Still pretty surreal. This guy was one of the punkest mofo's you were likely to meet; now he runs a beauty school(family owned). Quite shocking! And what makes it even weirder is the fact that he still looks and dresses the way he did back then, army cargos and ripped t-shirts.

The other funny thing is his nickname has always been Fats as long as I've know him, mostly because he was fat, and now he isn't really fat anymore.

It's such a trip bumping into people you haven't seen in a very long time.

Good start tonight. Two high alcohol content beers and a shot of good scotch. God, I hate the end of the school year. Kids you've worked with the whole year start treating you like shit for whatever reason. I guess the worst part is how you can't magically circumnavigate the system. Kids hate school, you're a part of it. You're an asshole for wanting to push them to be better, access the material, or even cooperate. Seriously, it's as good a reason to drink as any other, maybe better.

I had a wonderful night of drinking last night.

Had a good chat with Suda51 about video games, arcade scene and figurines(!!!), when I told him I had the Christel fig pre-ordered he got excited like a little kid and called all these Japanese guys over and they all chatted looking at me strangely and his translator said "they are all happy to see someone into these hobbies who buys from and knows about AmiAmi". So yeah, had a beer with Suda51 and chatted about awesome shit. Then afterwards my friends and I went to Absinthe Salon in Sydney. Hopefully there'll be pics soon.

I tried Brevans AO Spare (I am a big fan of AO Spare so), and we sampled a few other delightful drops. They only have absinthe proper, and its something to be savored in my opinion. Not treated in the way most people do.

T'was a good night. Shadows of the Damned is going to be a fucking awesome game too.

Not really drunk, I deserve to be, but i am rather tipsy. i just kindas need to vent so bear with me..
rough week with women, yeah plural, it's not like I am seeing any one, so I aven't cheated. I actually told one I couldn't date her because she is a drug dealer. Yeah, okay a few may be up in arms about this one, but I really was unaware at first, and it was because she was selling allot of coke and pills. The surprising part is that she was ignoring her phone to hang out with me(!), it was through a friend that I found out. I wasn't really surprised that her phone always rang, she's hot, and i have learned that it is best not to ever ask about someone's phone activity. I am unwilling to risk what little I have to even try and date a drug dealer, it just isn't worth it, and I don't touch anything she handles. The next stories aren't as interesting, so I'll skip it, but I have the feeling that none of it is going to work out. Not really a big deal, i have been getting out into the underground, and they have been responsive, so maybe I'll just wait it out untill it feels right.
On the plus, I went to the 20th anniversary of a local bar, The Bug Jar, and saw a really good band accidentally, Hank & Cupcakes, the bar is small and interment, so they played for about 100 people. It was awesome, the crowd was really into it, as well as the band. I had the chance to have a drink with them afterwards, and found out they are Israeli (!). They said it was the best show they have ever played, I looked for a video to link to, but wasn't even close enough to the energy that was. I was really impressed, and had allot of fun, if I find a video from tonight I;ll put it up later. They were very good.
Side story: I was walking to the club earlier and ran into a coworker, some how it came up that he needed the 24th off to see Michael Fontain, but I have it off for a wedding (asked off months ago), but the important part is that he said he has never seen a band perform live before, he's 28(!).. Yeah, I acidentaly saw a really good live perfortmance tonight (actually, this was a really stand out band for me, it was one of the better shows I have evr been to, and I have seen some major acts, this was dope.) Yeah, maybe I am drunk, i have stopped making sence and really just want to ramble on..
So yeah.. Have fun, and explore your city! There is allot happenng right under your nose, why aren't you a part of it? If you are hardcore enough to rep on the fringe of the gaming internet/culture, why aren't you repping in your own backyard?

Catching up with me very quickly, so Imma squeeze this in before I get some food in me. I got called out by a friend after I got out of work tonight. It's amazing how quickly someone can cause damage in an hour.. I get there, He immediately buys six shots of gran Monet ( i don;t know how to spell that) 3 for him 3 for me.. and I get a beer.. He's already really wasted. Two-down quick, I drink my third, he spills his water, i give his third to the woman next to me. Chat her up, she shows me her work on her phone, it's actually very good. Six more shots immediately, at least it's now only 2 each for the three of us. He leaves the bar, if you can call stumbling out leaving, comes back, if you call falling in back.. She's into me. Closing time, he's getting kicked out, and the bouncer decides it's my problem, no big deal, makes me look good, and really i do want to see him get home, plus we both live within a block of the bar. I look like a hero,, numbers happen, he gets home, texty to a date, it's good, but I am quickly getting drunk, even while typing this. I also got pinched try to sneak my full beer out, I paid for that dammit. ummm. yeah.. It's been a week of going out for me, there's been a few stories like this, but nothing too out of hand. I'm actually enjoying myself allot, and would really like other people to try their best an d do the same!

Speaking of Black Metal, I'm going to Evil Invaders III this weekend in Sydney. Although its actually more probably considered a death metal show with some black and thrash tossed in. Still, has a fucking killer line up.

With the likes of Portal, Impetuous Ritual, Witchrist, Assaulter, Trench Hell, d.USK (former diSEMBOWELMENT members! Playing classic diSEMBOWELMENT tracks!!), Ignivomous, Grave Upheaval etc.

I suppose this is more on the "underground" side of death and black metal and it's the Australian and New Zealand bands but there is some fucking brutal quality in here for people who like this type of thing.

Alcest are touring Australia in October, so that should be good. Evil Invaders III last weekend was a good show. Portal are fucking awesome live. Blind Guardian in September. Portal, Stargazer and Spire in November. Possibly Mournful Congregation at some point later in the year. There are a few things coming up for me to look forward to I guess. I don't even know why I'm saying this shit.
