Yup, I played it - seems quite nice and I was planning to order the full version next time I place an order with Himeya.

Re: air rade air
I've had the demo since it was first released, and I love the redesign of the original AIRRADE system (being a fan of the first game and it's expansion pack, Summer). Just received the full ver of Air in the mail, and been playing it solid. Ryuuya and Uraha are a tough pair to beat -_-;;pixelcorps wrote:anyone else playing this visually gorgeous cute 'em up?

EDIT: Changed controls list.
The attacks are pretty easy to do:
- A = Shot
- B = Punch (sends enemies flying across the screen in a straight line)
- C = Uppercut (sends enemies flying in an arc across the screen)
- D = AIR Dash (special attack, it is possible to aim the direction you fly in by holding down that direction before you shoot off)
- > + B = Power Punch (this has to be timed properly, tap right then B, not press simultaneously)
- ^> + B = Power Upper (same kind of timing as the Power Punch)
- AIR Dash, then > + B while charging = Fireball (slowmoving multihit fireball that also vacuums items to you while active)
- < AFTER Punch/Upper = Quick Recovery (this one is timing as well, you want to push left just as your character withdraws their arm after punching/uppering. Enables quick punch bar recovery)
- 1P & 2P Simultaneous AIR Dash = Hyper Mode (all Punches and Uppers are Power variants until Hyper Mode is exhausted)
The AIR Dash can only be used when you are at maximum Shot power, and are getting points for the powerups. When you use the AIR Dash, you're sent flying across the screen, causing a massive chain reaction that creates multipliers up to 4096x. Destroy enough enemies with the special and a swarm of eggs appears, these eggs fire bullets but can be destroyed for points and powerups. They can also be chained like regular enemies

Take note that while the AIR Dash can give you lots of points, it will also drain you down to minimum Shot power, and your character will very slowly recover back to full power.
I tested out my PC-to-PC videocapture setup and recorded a 32mil on the demo stage, if you're interested. The actual replay input files are tradeable, and located in the "replay" folder of the game's root directory.pixelcorps wrote:and has anyone got any replays saved? are they tradeable?
Speaking of replays, I came across a 200mil replay input done on the demo stage, by one of the game testers o_O
