Thanks indeed. Been planning on getting the whole Irem Arcade Hits bundle from them eventually. It's nice to try this out and see if there are any issues. Apparently they had Hammerin' Harry for free download a few days ago as well.
EDIT: Already found an issue. I'm using Windows XP and apparently this does not install correctly at all if you choose anything other than the default directory. What a clunky installer.
Also their emulator runs like molasses on a dual core unless you set affinity to one core.

Of course, that's just an opinion.

After a short time and a computer restart, I'm having the exact same problem now with stuttering and on-and-off sound as several people in this thread.
Setting core affinity no longer helps. I'm glad I didn't pay money for this. I hope they plan on fixing this issue sometime this year.
I wish someone would just sell licenses to use ROMs.

Another problem - this will not install on a 64-bit OS.
EDIT: Nevermind, it will. The installer just tells you it won't work. If you go to the folder and open the file, it works fine.

This is the end.

Probably the best thing Irem ever did, next to X-Multiply.
Did we ever get a reason why X-Multiply isn't in the collection?

IGMO - Poorly emulated, never beaten.

Some emulation issues appear to be yet unsolved.Drum wrote:Did we ever get a reason why X-Multiply isn't in the collection?

What emulator are they using? X-Multiply has been perfect in MAME for years.

I don't think it's possible to find a 32 bit program that won't run on a 64-bit OS (at least when talking Windows), unless a check is hardcoded into the program - in which case it should always be possible to work around.farewell wrote:Another problem - this will not install on a 64-bit OS.

A 64-bit OS should be able to simulate a 32 bit OS without any kind of problems or errors/slowdowns. Windows 7's compatibility mode setting should get around most, if not all, problems.
