I'm crazy about Panzer Dragoon so I have all three version of Orta.

Games are region locked so it won't work unless you play the game on the specific Xbox 360 its region coded for.

That isn't completely true. There's a handful of regionfree Xbox titles available, a list is available here. Note that those listed are USA releases, I don't know if PAL/JPN versions are also regionfree.

Then there's the Xbox 360 backwards compatibility list. For those of us with JPN 360's those two lists make a good resource in figuring out what original Xbox games we can go for.

I was only referring to Panzer Dragoon Orta as the JP version does not work on my NA Xbox 360. I forgot what the results were with the other Panzer Dragoon Orta games when I tested them on both my NA and JP systems but I'm assuming those are region locked as well.

I see they have resurrected the original Japanese backwards compatibility page.

It's now under "対象ゲームタイトルリスト". This is a list of all Japanese Xbox games compatible with Japanese 360s.
