What color 3DS to get ?_?

Must be quite a few guys on here that's got a 3DS.

Experiences please!

Can't decide between a black or an aqua blue one.

The Aqua Blue one seems a bit greener IRL, but that's really hard to catch in a photograph.

I prefer the Aqua Blue, which is not blue, but rather Teal, which I really like.

But neither until it has games.

Yeah, and the black is dull.

Both colours are rubbish, I guess they're withholding the red cos they know it's sexy and will give sales a second wind.

I agree the black looks incredibly dull and flat, but the blue is gorgeous. It's a very tame colour, but it's probably one of the nicer colour selection Nintendo has made in recent years. Just go see them both in person and make your choice.

Black (well, dark grey here) is always one of the best colors but who doesn't already have a black handheld already? I (and I think most folks who own plenty of handhelds already) opted for Aqua Blue to identify my 3DS at a glance. It looks just fine in normal lighting, unlike the hideously bright DSi Blue.

Experiences?
I was really happy for some of the early features but the lack of games, the worrying performance of the launch titles in terms of technical ability and , the massive killer, the poor battery life are making the machine really hard to recommend to anyone right now.

dcharlie: True, but there's a good few games I want that's being released over the summer, so I figured I'd get one now so I won't have a backlog if I delay the purchase and buy it in November or whatever. As of now there's only two games I want; Samurai Warriors Chronicles (bundle I'm buying includes a launch game of choice, and this is really the only decent option) and Dead or Alive: Dimensions.

June 6 - Mega Man Legends 3: Prototype Version
June 17 - Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
June 24 - Cubic Ninja
June 28 - Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D
June 28 - Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked
August 9 - Cave Story 3D
September 6 - Crush 3D

Still massively undecided. I'm leaning towards the Aqua Blue, though I actually don't have a single black handheld! My GBA is the Micro silver edition, and both my PSP-3000 and DSi XL are white.

yeah, that was my theory as well - i was going to get one anyways, so i might as well get them at launch

i never finished Zelda so that works well for me

If the 3DS blues are anything like GBA SP's blue I'd go for that.

Not DS Lite colours though. The DS Lite is an eyesore and so poorly made I don't have to smash one open to see its internal components.
