I was really happy with this run given my typical level of shmup ability. No Miss until Stage 3 Boss, hidden 1-Up collected, and the first time I've reached Stage 4 on one credit all made for a pretty satisfying performance.

Well I finally picked up the PCB for this after grinding out in MAME since December.
Can't get past Stage 4 yet but I'm already getting better scores on PCB than I was on emulator.

Woo hoo new high score tonight. Panic bombed the hell out of stage 4 before biting it on the part with the big gunships. I definitely don't have Stage 4 down yet. Did about 50 credits tonight and finally managed a decent run.

What can i say, I finally did a good stage 2 after many tries, Stage 3 was average, I got the extend easily though, Died at the very start of the boss corridor in Stage 4, I didn't even try to score when i hit stage 4 though, But missed 3 times with full bomb stock..., I can do much, much better than this, Still, new hi score

Played it some more when a friend brought over the PCB.

AVE - 137,045,092 - 1-All - Tiger-Schwert

That's a pitiful 6 million more than my old record :p Still, the last time I played the PCB was exactly two years ago. I started playing again when it came out for MAME, but it's just not the same... I barely reached 100m on MAME and once I play the pcb, it's a 1-all and 130+.

Maaaaan, This run was awesome, I did it around 4 am and nobody was there to distract me, This run had my best stage 2 ever, I finished stage 2 with 42 millions

, Sadly i missed the extend at stage 3, But whatever, Once i saw i had broken my old score i just lost all my concentration lol, So i ended with this humble score...

Gotta get to stage 5 again.

HELL YES!

Wow, that was intense. Highlight of the run for sure was 2-3; I entered the stage with no lives and 1 bomb, and beat the boss with 1 life and no bombs.

Well seems Ketsui is still shining around the world. Hmm. Good to see everybody trying hard to beat this STG epic.

If you'll excuse me, it's not my intention to disturb you guys until I found CHY has been here years before. He lead me to this great game. After I tried this in an infamous game center in Shanghai(It houses the only Ketsui arcade left in China mainland, possibly), I even suspended my trail for Dodonpachi Daioujou and started practising the fantastic shooter.

Now it's been half a year for me and I've just reached 2-4(tsuujou, omote some may say), still working on the 1st loop, polishing my patterns, targeting 200mil.

Oh yes, and my scoreshot. the picture is quite trashy(poor camera of my cellphone, sigh) but I think it still reads

I have to say, even though I beat BER in score, I feel he's the better player than I am for being able to 1-ALL the game. I've yet to see even the 1-5 midboss on a full run :S

Though not that high of a score, I'm happy I was able to get it within one month of practicing. Gonna have some sparse plays from now on, at least once a week. Let's see if I can improve, maybe get to the tsuujou loop...
