OutZone is a wonderful game, although I wouldn't count it to early Toaplan. Stuff like Kyuukyoku Tiger, Hishouzame, Daisenpuu and Same Same Same, those I'd love to play as arcade versions. Apparently I still haven't got hold of a Toaplan Shooting Battle Vol. 1

If the Flying Shark PCB is too huge, don't bother bringing it. I don't think it's worth the hassle for the 30 minutes of fame.

What's different on the Romstar-version? I always played the JPN board.

I think the Romstar-version is a bit easier. Also, non-Japanese players apparently never use more than 3 characters to spell their names. The Japanese get at least 5, maybe even 7. Out Zone is awesome (even for competitions), but a good run takes a bit too long. I will bring an autofire circuit for Twin Hawk as well, or people will need medical attention for their wrists.

the game becomes a little too easy with it.. everyone will clear the 1st loop atleast..

I wouldn't be surprised anymore if NAI would turn up on this meet.

No rare boards here I'm afraid. OutZone is ok for the competition, it isn't too hard without autofire unlike earlier stuff (Tatsujin, Flying Shark etc).

What else do we have for competition? Might be good to settle the games before the meet because it could get a little confusing to discuss that matter in the last moment.

My suggestions (games that not many people have mastered so far):

classic danmaku days:
OutZone & any Parodius / Gradius-game (not sure what's available. Gradius 1 bubble system anyone? )

classic manic days:
Gratia - Second Earth & V-V (Runefaust has both I believe)

modern days:
Ikaruga & Mushihimesama 1.5 Ultra

But IIRC, there was an Xbox360 setup at a Garcia shmeet already...

A 2nd XBOX 360 Set up would be very nice, one Hori and a Vert NNC Cab is there and I have a 2nd XBOX360 to Jamma Adapter.
So please bring it on Jockel.

@ SinHo PCB is always nicer, so You`re welcome to bring Deathsmiles MBL, DFK BL can bring Runefaust as well

Maybe I`ll pick up another NNC Cab from a Friend just for the Meet.

We currently have the following Cabs:

3x Egret 2
2x NNC
1x Super Neo 29
1x Astro City (still issues with the Pic, will try to fix it finally tomorrow)

3 CRT TV`s are here as well, maybe a 2nd MAK/Supergun would be nice.
