New personnal hi-score with Stage 2: 21.604.720 pts. A33 B29 C33
Many congratulations to T3-WIZ who beat 2 new world record:
With stage 2: 23,101,650 (12-2008 Arcadia Mag)
With stage 4: 27,550,780 (02-2009 Arcadia Mag)
I've a question for Plasmo is it possible to split scores with stage 2 and with stage 4 ? There is about 4M pts of difference between these 2 stages. Arcadia Mag have 2 different score boards.

Anything for you Mister Silvergun!

Arcadia Dec '08 issue says he got 12,2mill in stage 5 and since around 13mill is the maximum score for this stage I don't think that he got significantly more during his 27,5mill credit.

Thanks Plasmo for individual stage scores.
That's very interesting, you don't have his score for his 27.5M ? What is the source ? Arcadia I presume ?
4.8M on stage 3 is really amazing. I was thinking that 4.7 was the limit on this stage.

Scores are taken from the Arcadia dec '08 issue, of course. I don't think there are any individual scores in feb '09.
What are your personal bests for the individual stages ben?

Would be really awesome to see an Arcade mode full run of you! I only have your Saturn mode run and individual stage videos. Your 26,2mill beats WIZ's superplay by far!!
If you have the time you could also upload your stage 2 run, I personally prefer stage 2 over 4 because it looks cooler. 8)

Sorry, I've not recorded this run. The last run I've recorded was my +26M pts. About Wiz's 26Mpts video, it's not a complete run. It's a best of stage 3, 2, 4, 5 and 6. All stages come from differents run with a finish (st 5 & 6) with +26M.
Sorry again but since 2 years I keep all my new videos for Nolife TV:

Hey, why not posting one of the 1CC score I'm the most proud of ? I can not remember my weapon levels by the end though.

Stage 2 route
Guigui - 7.947.860 - All Clear - A?? B?? C??

This is a somehow low score for an All Clear but I could not force myself to try and score the stage 5, it just bores me... So I went with the easy route of secret chaining in the first part until I come in the heart of the boss where I finally FORGET THOSE DAMN'D COLORS AND BLOW EVERYTHING UP 'TILL THE END !
Ahem, well, I'm glad I did it but that was close since Xiga and the Diamond bosses each stole two lifes from me..

Here's a score I got a few months ago. I bit it on the Stone like, but it's higher than my 1cc scores because there's no end game bonus anyway.

man9child - Stage 2 Route - Stage 0 - 8,616,720 - A25, B15, C23

Wow, man, you're unstoppable! I take it there's no video?

On a side note, are you going to get the XBLA port of Silvergun when it comes out?

37.546.200 pts - Saturn mode - A33 B24 C32 - All clear
4 miss (1 volontary) on stage 1 for scratching.
Greta run, almost perfect on stages 3, 2, 4
about 300 and 500.000 pts missed on stage 5
On a side note, are you going to get the XBLA port of Silvergun when it comes out?
I'm still waiting to know a little more about the 360 version.
Since few years now, Treasure became a very commercial studio/developper with many many remakes. No real new game since Gradius V (2004)

You know, it's not unlikely that you've had the Saturn mode record for some time already, or are at least approaching one. Arrange modes usually don't enjoy a competition as rigorous as the arcade. If you look at the Special score section of this post you'll likely find some familiar names there; it's just that nobody is trying harder in those cases, and it might be the case with you and Saturn mode of Silvergun as well.

I've searched the web for レイディアント シルバーガン サターン版 スコア and variations thereof, but the only relevant things the Internet (well, Google and Nicovideo to be exact) came up with were this run, this stage 6 practice run, and this mildly educating video about hitboxes. We can safely assume that if there is a higher score on the Saturn mode, it's not public.

When you get around to making a 38 million run, which I'm sure is just a question of time, please do record it! :)

I record evrey run I play at the moment.
My project is to put on streaming all the best scoring stages (3, 2, 4...)
Of course, if I score +38M, all stages will be almost perfect so I will put the complete video.
It's just a question of time...

Great work Ben, you'll get there!

How do you handle the stage 4E boss? The colors of the guns are random, right? So you might get many red chains or very few? I think you would need every gun to be red to get the truly highest score?

About 4e stage, yes colors are random. You can easily win or lost 1 or 2 chain (100k) with good/bad random. The most important on this stage is to get all the reds on the midboss with the sword. Timing is the secret for this section.
For highest score, stage 5 is the key (much more than stage 4e) because random is much more important, especially on the fist boss.
I will put stage 3, 2, 4, 5 and 6 very soon on streaming. It will be a best of my highest scores for each stages.
